A Very Very Warm Welcome to Mehndi Ceremony Of Our DevAkshi...

The Most Awaited Wedding Of The Year Is Finally Happening...so it's time to celebrate! As you all know we are celebrating all the wedding functions of our lovely couple DevAkshi...so how can we forget Mehndi...

~ Significance Of Mehndi Ceremony~

Indian marriages are known for their many rituals. In fact, the beauty of Indian weddings comes forth in the numerous traditions that are associated with the special celebration. Indian weddings are incomplete without dance, music and lots of laughter. Furthermore, Indian weddings are not a one day ceremony. Pre-wedding ceremonies begin before the wedding and can sometimes be a week long celebration.

Among the many traditions that are infused into Indian weddings, one of the most prominent is the Mehndi ceremony. This is the day when Mehndi is applied on the hands and feet of the bride and even the groom. While the bride has a very elaborate pattern done on her hands and feet, the groom usually has just a token design.

Mehndi represents the bond of matrimony and is therefore, considered a Shagun (sign of good luck). It signifies the love and affection between the couple and their families.

I don't know if the makers have planned to show a Mehndi Ceremony of our DevAkshi...

Par Humare DevAkshi Ki Shaadi Hai...Toh Saare Funcations Hone Chahiye Na...

So even if they don't show Mehndi function...we can still celebrate it!

Cv's humein bhale hi mehendi ceremony na de aur sona mehendi na lagae lekin hum toh lagayenge, hamare devakshi ki shadi hai, koi aam baat nahi.
