CHAPTER 34 << PART 2 >>

Note... all green part is of dairy

"Trust me Jodha.. I have no clue about what's going on with him. I just..."

Jodha cut in between "How is he. Is he fine? I know no one has the answers of those questions except Jalal himself. I just wanna know if he is doing well.. mmm.. I mean.."

"He is alive" Abdul said.

"Are you blaming me for his condition" she choked.

"Never Jodha.. I know he is being an idiot. But that's the truth. He is nothing more than alive... physically. I don't know how to get him back Jodha. Please help me" Abdul whispered.

"What can I do" Jodha asked.

"Will meet you in Jalal's cabin... Mmm.. Can you come now" Abdul asked sceptical.

"Am coming" Jodha answered.

"You freshen up fast.. I want to go to temple & mosque with you" she said excitedly.

I nodded smilingly but soon my smile faded sensing some movements around. Instinctively my hand raised to shield my most precious person.. my Jodha.

"Shehensha..." She shouted in horror.

My heart was shivering at the change of events. What if... Fear gripped me. I came out of my thoughts hearing Jodha's cry "blood"

One of those bloody cowards flung his sword towards Jodha. Thank God, I reacted timely & held that deadly object away from her. She cried seeing my blood soaked hand.

I glanced towards them with the coldest eyes. Fear was evident in his eyes.

I pulled the sword & threw it aside & punched him hard on his stomach. "How dare you think of hurting my wife" I roared

"She should be dead. She betrayed rajwanshis & married you." He gritted.

"We never had any love marriage. Raja bharmal forced his decision on Jodha... And if you so much had problem with this marriage, you should have fought me directly.. I must have spared you.. But you tried to harm Jodha. Count on your minutes of life you coward.." I gritted & twisted his hand which followed by his shrill cry & sound of bone breaking.

All the kings pulled out their swords... My blood boiled in anger. I gripped on my sword lifting it from the stand. My soldiers jumped in the battle ground for my support. But I ordered them to stay away. My sword was blood thirsty. Raja bharmal & bhagwandas also reached there.

I was about to pierce my sword in that coward's stomach when my hand stopped hearing Jodha's shriek. I turned back to see bhagwandas was evilly smirking with his sword on Jodha's neck. I was more than shocked.

"Sorry shehensha.. I tried to ask Jodha about secrets of your army.. But this bitch.. How much we tortured her all these 7 days.. But this stubborn girl.. Whatever.. If we can't attack on you directly, I will prefer this way. Put your sword down shehensha" He gritted making me shock.

Jodha struggled in his grip. He pressed the sword to Jodha's neck & blood oozed out. "Throw your sword shehensha" he hissed. My sword automatically slipped from my hand.

All these thoughts had made me paralysed. They had tortured my Jodha. And.. And she didn't tell me anything.

Bhagwandas again started with his dirty mouth "You know... I started thinking that it was a sheer waste making her marry to you. My whole & sole objective of making her married to you was getting your secrets. She had been very much interested in these things from childhood. So I thought this might serve us well. But this idiot.. She didn't tell us anything. It would have been better that I would have made her marry suryabhan.. Atleast we must have got 3 states by our side. Come on... We carried her burden for 18 years.. We can expect a little payback. But no... My plan failed. But after seeing your concern towards this little girl... I made out that she is the perfect puppet which will disarm you.. And here I am.. At a winning side."

"Leave her" I gritted.

"Practice patience... And order your soldiers to get out of the gate of the palace" he smirked.

I did exactly that.

One of them picked up my sword. That wasn't the problem now. I can fight them all but.. I fear on Jodha.

My thoughts were slashed by a vicious cut on my arm by the sword of one of those bast**s which was followed by Jodha's shriek "nooo... Please bhaisa leave him"

Blood was coming from her throat but she was concerned about me.

They started practising boxing on me. I could not even hit them back else they will hurt Jodha.

After he was satisfied with all his coward attacks, he pushed Jodha. I caught her before she can hit the ground. I hugged her.

"Why didn't you tell me that they behaved bad with you" I questioned Jodha.

"They made me swear in your name that I won't tell you" she cried.

"What did they do to you" I asked. She remained quite.

Bhagwandas quipped in "Oh... She won't say.. Let me tell you. I just asked her to tell me your army secret.. And she being a bitch didn't say anything"

My blood was boiling in anger. My grip on Jodha tightened.

He continued "We just tied her up in the prison & tortured her hungry & thirsty. That's it." My heart cried.

"Have you lost it. Why didn't you tell them the secrets & got free. Why did you bear all that" I shouted looking towards Jodha.

Bhagwandas shouted in horror "What... She knew the secrets. I had really believed by the end that you hadn't told her anything"

"I can die but I can't betray you shehensha..." Jodha said looking at me... Tears were brimming in her eyes.

Now when my Jodha was in my arms, I feared nothing. Some of the soldiers attacked us as per bhagwandas's order. To their bad luck I hit them & now had a sword.

It followed with a long battle of hate & revenge. My anger vent out through my sword. It slashed up each & every one of them. I was shielding my Jodha along with the battle. Those cowards were lying dead on the ground.

I opened the palace gate & my soldiers came in & took over the palace. I sent Jodha to her room with her trusted maids with tight security with instructions of calling the hakim sahiba for her.

I appointed the subedars of Amer & other states which now was under me. After handling the situation I decided to check upon Jodha.

"Jodha..." I called meekly. She looked up at me. Her eyes & nose were tomato red. Many bandages rested on her tiny self. I sighed in helplessness.

"Am sorry Jodha. I know I shouldn't have talked to you like that... but.. but this stupid heart... I was so much scared with the thought of losing you.. That.. that I was not able to think rationally. Believe me Jodha.. I didn't do that intensionally. I was scared that they hurt you." I tried to justify my stupid act.

"Please don't say that shehensha.. Am not crying because you talked to me like that. I understand.. I too felt the same.. I was crying because.. You always get hurt due to me. Am such a bad wife" she cried.

"Don't you ever dare say like that about my Jodha. She is the best wife one can get. Do you even know how much she loves me and.. And she pampers me like a baby" I said giggling.

Then I said in a dim tone "I should have come earlier. Am sorry.. I.. I thought you must be feeling lonely in Agra so maybe you will would want to spend more time here. Now I get it why you were so eager to leave."

"Am Ok shehensha.. I love you" she said smiling. I hugged her tightly. My whole body was aching. Jodha continued "shehensha.. your wounds needs medicine"

I broke the hug. She helped me to open my jama & made me lie down on the bed. She made me drink a yukky medicine & I drifted into sleep.

I opened my heavy eyelids with much difficulty. "Ahhh" it hurts. My body was paining. Sh*t.. I shouldn't have taken that medicine. How can I sleep. My whole body is covered with bandage. I looked around but found none. Where is Jodha. Is she Ok. What's going on outside. I tried getting up but my body refused to follow my command. I felt so weak. No... This is not me.. Helpless & weak.. My throat was parched. I need water.. ahhh.. I can't move.

Gathering all my energy, I moved my hand towards the glass which fell down. Oh god... what's happening. I don't even have the energy to lift a glass.

Jalal's phone rang bringing him out of the diary. He picked up the phone. "Yep Abdul"

"Bro... You have to come to the office now" Abdul answered.

"Ok Abdul.. Am coming" Jalal said.

Jalal reached his office & went to his cabin. The employees had already left.. It was almost 9 pm. Jalal realised that he had skipped all his meals & did absolutely nothing all the day.

As & when he opened the door, he was left shocked. Jodha was also there. But why. He looked at Abdul with questioning eyes.

Abdul explained "bhai... You remember.. that IRIS file had been stolen & moreover the data from your laptop had also been scammed. So.. I think Jodha can help us"

"Hmmm" he managed to say. Jodha wasn't even looking at him. She royally ignored him & took her seat.

'Hii Jalal' ... She had always greated him with these words so lovingly. He missed that. He put his thoughts aside & sat on his chair.

Finally he heard her say "so... what had exactly happened"

Jalal thought "As if you don't know. What should I say her that I saw her video in which she was... Nooo.."

He told whole story leaving the camera & vedio part. Jodha opened her laptop & did something. Then she asked the most dangerous question "whom do you suspect"

"No one" he said flatly.

"Who are the ones who have access to your cabin freely"

"Abdul, Rukaiya and.. You"

"Do you by any chance doubt Rukaiya"

"Nope"

"So much confidence.. It tells that you know the culprit. Then why are we wasting our time" she was irritated.

"Then don't waste your precious time" sarcasm dripping from his voice.

"Look Mr. Khan.." His eyes shot up.. Mr. Khan... Jalal to Mr. Khan.. What a progress in a day. She really has moved on with her fake friendship drama.

She continued "I know.. you don't like my presence here.. but am here to help my friend Abdul."

"Yeah like you were there in the Mumbai shopping plaza to help your FRIEND Surya" Finally.. The root cause of his hurt was out.

"Wh..what" she looked at him wide eyed. How can he put such allegations on her.. that too when they had an audience. And.. What the hell was he talking about. She was clueless what she did exactly to have such a reaction on Jalal.

"Abdul.. You know all the details of the happenings.. Please help Miss Singh with it" Jalal said stressing on the title which he had used for her only once.

Jodha thought "fine... If you don't care to ask me before accusing me, I won't justify myself"

He was about to leave when Abdul stopped me.

"Jalal.. Please yaar.. Don't create a fuss.. Let's talk business... And I know you are definitely keeping something. Tell me Jalal. I can't take it. Enough is enough. I can't see you like this." Pain was evident in his voice.

"Fine.." He said & sat down.

"Mmm...can you please give me a pen" Jodha said looking at Jalal. Jalal gave her the pen which was till now resting in his coat's pocket.

Jodha scribbed something on the paper. "Am hungry.. Let's talk while having dinner."

Both Jalal & Abdul gave her shocked look. "What... I haven't had anything since yesterday"

"You have totally lost it. Why don't you eat properly" Abdul sighed looking at Jalal as if directing those words towards him.

Trio went towards the dining cum bedroom & sat on the dining table. Jodha had carried her laptop inside. They ordered the food which arrived after 15 mins. They ate in complete silence. Jodha was relieved that atleast Jalal ate something. She knew he must have skipped his meals. None had spoken anything since then.

Finally Jodha broke the silence "We were being watched"

"What" Abdul exclaimed.

"Yup... There were two surveillance cameras in your cabin... so I had to bring you all here without creating doubt in the mind of the person watching us" she said.

"But how do you know about the cameras" Jalal asked.

"I have the software in my laptop which detects the same... When I opened my laptop, I scanned the place which took a minute.. And when I got the result, I asked us to shift here."

"How can this be possible." Jalal looked shocked & horrified. Jodha knew that Jalal wouldn't keep this type of camera.. that meant someone else was spying on him.. & he need to know this.. so she confidently said without any hesitation.

"And... One of the cameras was in that pen.. So I asked for it & left it there otherwise it wouldn't have been of any use coming here" Jodha further informed.

"Bu.. But.. How is this possible.. Jalal.. Jalal trust me.. I didn't" Abdul stammered puzzled. That pen was the gift which Abdul gifted Jalal on his 24th birthday. It's been more than a year, but still Jalal cherished that pen.

"Relax Abdul... I trust you." Jalal placed his hand on Abdul's shoulder & assured him with a friendly pat.

"Are you sure Jodha... About that pen" Jalal asked sternly as if accusing Jodha of lying.

"What's about that pen" Jodha asked.

Abdul said "I had gifted Jalal that pen"

"More than a year back" Jalal completed.

She closed her laptop "look... Its possible that camera would have been installed later by someone else. Let's come to the point..."

"Nothing's left to tell" Jalal said.

Jodha sighed "fine then.. We will continue this tomorrow. I should leave now"

Jalal "yeah.. Your friend Surya must be waiting for you"

"Shut up Jalal" she shouted.

There... She was again to 'Jalal' from 'Mr. Khan'. He smirked.

Abdul "mmm... Woh.. I will come in a minute"

Jodha "Wait Abdul.. You won't go anywhere."

Jodha continued looking at Jalal "What the hell is your problem Jalal"

Jalal just ignored & tried to leave. She held his hand & turned him towards herself "You know what you are not the Jalal I knew. I really hate you"

'I really hate you' her words echoed in his ears. He pinned her to the wall. His body crushing hers. "Now you hate me. Woah.. Ok... What about my touch. Do you also now hate my hands & lips roaming on you... Or you have started to love Surya's touch more than mine."

"Chiii" Jodha tried to push him away.

Jalal accused her "You ruined me Jodha.. completely... You robbed me.. of my happiness.. of my innocence."

"Stop it Jalal..." Abdul shouted. His shout brought Jalal to his senses. He looked at Jodha who was almost crying.

"I.. I.. Am.. Sorry Jodha. I.. I" he said shocked with his own behaviour and left the place. Jodha stood paralysed due to his behaviour. First time ever he accused Jodha of cheating on him, first time ever he touched her forcefully, first time ever he showed his pain. She was sure about one thing.. it was lot more than what it met with eyes.. Many secrets, many misunderstandings, and many mysteries. He was in much more pain than he actually showed. Still he didn't wanted to hurt her. He was shocked with his own behaviour. It very well reflected in his actions.

Abdul "are you Ok"

After sometime Jodha composed herself & nodded.

Abdul said "Sorry Jodha.. I tried my best. He spends all his time alone. He wasn't like that even when his father passed away. I really don't know what happened to him yaar"

She gave him a weak smile "I think we should first look at the camera thing"

Abdul nodded she started working on her laptop. Hacking the systems she disabled them.

"Thanks Jodha" Abdul said

"Oh really.. Now you will say thanks to me.." Jodha gave him killing glares.

"Fine.. Hehe" Abdul chuckled.

Jodha said "Look Abdul.. Whatever happened between me and Jalal.. That won't change our relation.. you were, are and always be my brother friend"

"Yep Jodha.. But don't worry he will be fine soon" Abdul said.

Jodha nodded.

Abdul "Do you still love him"

Jodha "Yes.. But.."

Abdul "But what Jodha"

Jodha whispered "I think I won't be able to be the same with him. I want to help to bring him out of this avtaar but probably I have lost my Jalal long back... and he lost his Jodha too"

She left leaving behind a shattered person. He lost his friend & now his sister.

Jalal reached his home & was about to enter his room when Hamida's voice stopped him "Jalal... I want to have a word with you. Come to my room."

For the first time Jalal was feeling nervous & scared to talk to his mother. He didn't want her to see through his vulnerability. He made his way to her room & entered in. Hamida asked him to sit in front of her. Jalal's eyes were downcasted.

"What's going on Jalal" Hamida asked.

"What do you mean mom" Jalal said meekly.

"You very well know beta. Please tell me. Maybe I can help"

"Nothing mom.. just work pressure"

"You don't know how to lie Jalal. Tell me honestly."

Getting no response she continued. "It is related to Jodha" she didn't ask, she stated the matter of fact. Jalal looked up astonished.

"I am your mother Jalal. I understand you more than you think I do. I know you like her & probably didn't tell me fearing my reaction on your liking towards a Hindu girl"

"No mom.." Jalal protested instantly.

He continued "I.. I didn't tell you as I didn't wanted to break your hopes after building it up. Ammi.. We.. We broke apart even before getting together. Yes I liked her but never got a chance to propose her. She loves someone else."

"Jalal... many a times truth is more complex than what it appears. Talk to her beta.. that's only the thing which I will suggest."

He took her leave & went to his room. Staring at the moon he remembered the time he had spent with her. "Whatever be my fate.. I will always love you Jodha"

superb update...so Jalal in history, killed Bharmal, Bhagwantdas and all others??? but what Jo fed him that made him to lose his strength??

anyway, this present Jalal is out and out idiot...if he is hurt, then it's only him to blame for that

Fabulous update but shocking too

The dairy Jodha is too much tortured
But didn't understand the end of the dairy part where Jalal was on the bed after medication and could not find Jodha. Are they again in danger?

While real Jalal is just not seeing beyond the camera shot. Jodha tried explaining him abt the cameras and logic that shows someone conspiring to create a rift in them and also stealing data, but he is still so much in pain to logically think

Hope this gets cleared soon...
