She couldn't believe her fate. She was the most joyous person that day and that night every dream of her crashed. The journey back home was awful. She was so engrossed in her misfortune that she missed her stoppage. Taking an auto back to her stoppage would have been a luxury to her, so she walked. The journey couldn't tire her because she was already tired of struggling with her fate. She opened the lock of her room and entered. Rahi her room-mate was soundly sleeping on her bed. She sat on her bed with a sigh. Her tear clouded eyes started raining and she lied down on her shoulder bringing her knees closer to her chest. She let herself weep. She wept till she got tired and world of dreams welcomed her.

"You are sure you are comfortable in this room, Om?" Shivay asked "No, I mean, we could arrange a better room for you! You need not stay like others, you are no commoner. You are the owner of this company"

"Not owner, brother of the owner. Whatever If I was an owner then also I would have been stayed here, like other people Shivay."

"You are impossible Om!" Shivay replied while checking his daily reports.

"That doctor was different!" Om said.

"Who?" Shivay asked.

"That female doctor, who checked me last night." Om informed.

"Female Doctor! Oh! Latika, um-hm Shivika, erm Anika? Different!" After a pause, "in a good way or.." Om's words were cut by Shivay.

"Of course in a very good way." Om answered, a smile lingering on his face.

Really?!?" his voice astonished.

"Yes, she was lovely" Om smiled. Shivay gave him a hesitant smile back. Was it his right decision to fire her without giving any chance!

"Hey sleepy head. Get up, get up." Anika found someone shaking her.

"Rahi..." She rubbed her eyes.

"Oh my God Anika, look at you. You look like some zombie."

"Are you going somewhere?" she asked looking at her back pack.

"Yeah! Told you last week, remember ! We are riding to Nepal." She beamed.

"But, in this weather.." She was about to ask when Rahi cut her off. "It was preplanned Anika. Don't worry. I will be fine." She kissed her cheeks. "Don't stress yourself much. Enjoy your new job, okay?" she caressed her cheeks. She nodded. "I am leaving my laptop. You can use and be connected." She said before leaving hastily.

Sometimes Anika envies Rahi. All she wanted to do in life is to travel. She wanted to travel a lot! She wanted to travel the whole world, not as a tourist but as a traveler. She has planned that after working for some months she would go to the Dooars with the savings. But...

She turned the laptop on and updated her resume in the job portals.

A depressed Anika pulled herself off the bed to receive the phone that was ringing breaking the peace of the gloomy evening.

An unknown number ! "Hello?" she took the call.

"Anika?"

"Speaking...!" She informed oblivious to the fact that who is over the side.

"Hey! Shivay Singh Oberoi speaking. Why aren't you here in the hospital?"
"Hospital? But you fired me yesterday?"
"As per the contract you are still our employee for next three months, so come as soon as possible to the hospital" his voice calm yet authoritative.

"The political condition is not good for us to continue with our journey. Sir, should we cancel the tour?" Asked Hari, the manager of Abhilash Tour Services Pvt. Ltd.

"No, the riots are not happening anymore. I have talked with the ruling party and they assured us our safety." told the boss, "and this time I will accompany you guys, so don't worry!"

"You will be joining us, that will be awesome Sir!" Hari beamed genuinely.

"Yes, Hari. Everyone's security is my responsibility. Shivay Singh Oberoi never takes chance over their employers safety" he told holding his chin high.

It has past one week since Anika started working in Oberoi General Hospital. She has encountered with Shivay Singh Oberoi after that day for only once. That formal conversation finished with a "Good evening Mr. Oberoi" from her part and only "Evening" by him. She has bonded well with all of her patients. There was a special one, Om, whom she found to be classy, passionate and caring. Though she still didn't understand why he was so much addicted to weed. She hasn't had a talk about it with Om or anyone else. It was another evening when she was working on some files when she heard some knock on her door.

"Come In" she thought may be any nurse has come to consult with her. She kept herself engrossed in the files waiting for the nurse to talk.

"Anika..." she heard a familiar male voice. Anika stood up flabbergasted only to look into those blue orbs which are too deep to find any emotion.

"Anika, I am going to tell you something which is not known by many!" he told sitting on a chair.

Sitting on her chair she looked at him intently with her big black eyes.

"What do you think about Om?"
"Om? He is a very nice guy, passionate, poetic, caring." She told smiling remembering her meeting with him. "But I don't know why he opted for Weed!"

"Have you asked anything about it to him?" he asked concerned.

"No, not yet. But I will."

"No, you won't !"

"What? Why?"

"Look, he doesn't know that you are a psychiatrist. He thinks you are a general physician and bonds with you well. I have noticed it for the past few days."

"What do you want me to do then?" she asked.

"Just bond with him well. Slowly try to know the reason but not as a Doctor but as a friend and let me know. You will do it right?" he asked

"I'll try !" her hesitant voice answered.

"You will do it. I know." He told before leaving surprised Anika behind in her cabin.

Omkara

"See what I have for you?" she chimed entering my hospital room.

"Poetries by Gulzar? Woah! I loved his poetries but I never had a collection of his works. How do you get to know always what I want?" I asked.

"Bas pata chal jata hain!" all she told.

God, am I getting attracted to this woman? But am I deserved to be loved? Again? I can't take my eyes off her whenever she is with me. I like it how the faded light from the corridor falls through her hair and crosses her cheeks. It's been two months only that I know her but it seems I know her from ages. She is irresistible and I am unable to resist. She is more intoxicated that the weed. Her smile, her wit, her nose, her features everything is just perfect!

"Hey, Om! Where are you lost?" she asked breaking my daze.

"Nowhere, come I'll show you the pictures of Shivay's latest Dooars trip" I started showing her the pics.

She jumped like a child when I showed her the pictures of valleys, mountains, wild streams. She took a photo where Shivay was with a small girl beside a hilly river.

"You know Om, I always wanted to go to Dooars. It's like a dream place for me." She told dreamily looking at the picture.

"You should have told earlier. I could have managed telling Shivay about you" I assured.

"No, no, no need to tell Mr. Oberoi about it." She told denying.

"But why?" I asked.

"Because I'll go to Dooars If you go with me. Not with anyone named Shivay Singh Obeoi who doesn't even talk to me properly." She told complaining.

I Laughed. "How can I go with you Anika with my broken limbs and hands?" I asked jokingly.

" Oh My God Om, You are absolutely fine now. Can walk with a stick too. By next week you'll be able to go anywhere in the world" she said patting my shoulder.

"So, are you saying me to arrange the tour?" I asked seriously.

"Definitely" her sweet voice tinkled.

"So, you and me, right?" I asked her playfully.

"Huh!" she asked not getting the humor and then laughed, "No..., Mr. Khaddos Singh Oberoi can also accompany us."

I laughed at her innocence.

Anika left Omkara's room thinking that would her dream to visit the Dooars would be true! Then she remembered the photo she was holding Shivay Singh Oberoi with a girl. He was smiling. He never smiled at her! They have met often in the corridors, in the elevator, at the entrance she always smiled and greeted him. He greeted but never smiled back.

"I couldn't know the reason behind Om's weed addiction till now Mr. Oberoi." She told herself.

"Don't worry you will" someone replied. She in looked at the direction from where the voice was coming in shock.

"Oh, Mr. Oberoi, Thank God It's you" she sighed in relief as soon as she saw him.

"Yes, Thank God that it's me. Stop talking to yourself in the corridor girl" he told.

"Sorry" she bit her lips.

Shivay knew Om feels something for Anika. Om was not his own brother but a step brother. But he is the only person he has in his family and he can't lose him. Six months back Om tried to suicide and before three months he suffered an accident. Both times Shivay has been felt like his life is going away from him. He needed Anika to bring Om back on track.

Rahi was more than happy when she got to know that after so many years at last Anika would be going to Dooars. Her dream destination. Anika borrowed some shoes and sweaters from Rahi and bid her a goodbye. They told everybody that Om was going for a change with Shivay and Anika accompanying them as Om's Doctor. They would be going to Kolkata on a flight and then by train to New Jalpaiguri. From there they have to go to Lataguri to enter the forest.

They got separate AC cabin for each of them, so no much interaction with each other. They stayed in a five star hotel at Jalpaiguri. The place was peaceful, silent. But the weather was not. It started raining heavily after they reached Lataguri. So they were stuck in the hotel room.

It was awful for Anika, as she was the sole reason for their coming here and here she can't even go outside. At afternoon when the rain subsided, a desperate Anika with holding a little umbrella went out to explore not knowing the fact that in the mountains the night comes suddenly. Soon she lost herself in the beauty of the rain bowed sky. The greenery, the wild flowers didn't let her realize and time flew away. Suddenly the night came without warning her with dusk and she whimpered in horror. With a hell lot of self awakening she gathered some courage and ran towards the hotel. She ran as fast as she can without looking only to collide with a hard chest. She looked up to see the face.

"Mr. Oberoi!" she gasped clawing his collars. She let her heaving chest touch his. She breathed on his neck heavily clawing his collar more tightly. He was still. He didn't hold her back. After few minutes, her breathings calmed down a bit and she let go off his collar and snaked her hands around his neck hugging him pushing her soft chest into his hard body.

"Anika" she heard him groan. He clutched her waist making her shiver.
