What will be historical ranking:1. Kajol: Lets be honest, Kajol is much more mainstream than either of Manisha/Urmila, she has two ATBB in her kitty, both are her movies, it is not like Anushka with PK or Katrina with Dhoom3 or Kareena with 3I. DDLJ and KKHH were both her movies equal standing with SRK. Not just that, she is also critically acclaimed and rightfully so. She does the OTT so much better than any other actor. There is a reason why despite Pooh and Anjali, despite being equally annoying and OTT, Anjali is praised while Pooh is ridiculed.


2. Manisha: She may not have been as commercially successful as Kajol but she did had good commercial success during the 90s, while critically she was among the crme de la crme.



3. Urmila: Urmila is underrated compared to the other two, while she is defo a sex symbol for mainstream mass audience , her best roles were in niche movies.

Overall if not for the screechy voice I would say Kajol, whenever I see her movies nowadays I cannot believe she was a top star and so popular with that voice and terrible voice modulation

Manisha had pleasant voice, she was good but not much luck commercially and her weight fluctuated throughout her career
