Looks like, Ranbir Kapoor is may be cleaning up his act. Once considered aloof and inaccessible, the actor is reportedly going out of his way to change people's impression of him.
As per a popular entertainment magazine, recently RK called up Shoojit Sircar after watching Pink and said he was too affected to articulate his thoughts, and he needed a full ten minutes after leaving the cinema to be able to speak again. Some weeks ago he made a call to Irrfan Khan to gush about his performance in Madaari. So much so, that RK told Irrfan that he's rooting for him to be awarded the Bharat Ratna! Then in an interview with another film magazine, he joked that he thinks himself as "the male version of Sonam Kapoor!"
*eyes roll*
RK's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil release is around the corner and the film's box-office performance will be the actor's acid test, post the colossal failure of Bombay Velvet and Tamasha not being able to help either. Apparently, the Kapoor lad recognizes that all eyes will be on him, but insists that he won't let box-office numbers determine the career he wants for himself.
Alas, that may be easier said than done!
