Akki is a good soul. Instead of boycotts or baashans, he does things that actually help and make a difference to people. 👏

I agree...topic is about Akshay reaching out to families of martyrs...and talking about piracy - diverting the topic and downplaying Akshay's gesture is the most logical argument in this topic and rest who are commenting on Akshay's gestures have no logic in their posts...

Respect !!! And so refreshing to see that he did this when there would be no danger of his act being viewed as promotion before a movie of his is due to release.

Woah!! That Member ..Really?
BM vs Dilwale ka jhatka abhi tak hain. 😆😆😆

Anyways,
My question wasn't what have you done for the nation. My question was what have you done for the Martyrs' families to nullify and degrade who has done something for them.
Plus Akshay's movies pay taxes and his income tax goes to indian government as well.
NVM.

The insecurity and pettiness is very apparent and astounding

This is the best response for you

My mistake and hence my apologies. I missed that. And yes I do a lot for my country India like watching movies in cinemas instead of watching pirated versions of films online so that the taxes collected via sale of tickets at the box office goes to government coffers which in turn is used to pay salaries of the soldiers and other men in uniform when they are alive and pensions when they are retired or dead, This is better than giving a one time cheque of Rs.5 lakhs to Rs, 10 lakhs which would get over in 1 year max and then no one will check on them after brownie points are won. And yes I do other stuff too but dont want to discuss them here so as not to give out personal information. I hope this satisfies you and inspires you to contribute to your original motherland ie Nepal atleast by watching all movies you do watch in the cinemas wherever you are.

well every small or big gesture done to help them is good imo

i feel there is no need to bring one down just coz you may not like his way of helping- the point remains that he at least did something for them where as so many did not

This thread is entertaining as only threads on IF can be😆
Kudos to Akshay.
Online piracy does finance terrorism-so all foaming at the mouth,hyper-nationalists you are hypocrites if you watch pirated stuff. You can talk the talk but not walk the walk.

Entire family can watch.

What I do for songs is stream then online on apps like Gaana, Saavn. They are legal. Or watch them on YT. People use songs.pk but Indian govt issued a notification against it saying that site funds terrorism. So dont use it if you do.

can you open a topic on piracy and which sites fund terrorism so that members dont visit them?
