I've been seeing a lot of posts on Meera's family and thought we could all put our views here!
Let me start with Riya! The older, successful, practical and golden chid of the Raizada's! She's quite hot tempered and a lot of people have been calling her selfish over the way she reacted because of her marriage being postponed. Now I do think she's selfish however not for this. In this case she was absolutely correct. I mean Aman is Sanjays cousin. That does NOT mean that Meera has to marry him.. But it does mean that even if she doesn't.. Aman and his family should be accorded respect. I loved seeing Aman get rejected that way, however it could have been done ALOT more tactfully knowing that those two are cousins. Meera doesn't understand all this.. However her parents should. So Riya was justified in her anger.. Even if she did say some things which were very mean and uncalled for.
Riya has been incessantly pushing Meera to get married to Aman even after seeing his controlling and horrible behaviour. It was terrible and incredibly selfish of her. Otherwise there are a few moments when I really like her. Sanjay and Riya make a very cute couple :):)
Papa Raizada is a typical, SUPER ARROGANT, rich man. Although there are some moments which showcase his softer, sweeter side with both his daughters... So I would say typical dad with a whole lot of arrogance:P I hate the way he treats Abhi though. However I both loved and hated his scene with Meera today... The "yeh mujhe Kuch samjhana chahte hai" was very well done. Cute scene tha before he ruined it with this horrible small town.. Let's get away blah blah blah !
Mommy Raizada.. So far so good. She doesn't show the same arrogance that her husband has for do take Ka manager! She's shown very understanding with Meera too.. Does the right thing and convinces her husband to let Meera break the Rishta off.. And once again I love her parent moments with Meera.. !
Shoutout to the coolest dude in the show and soon to be Raizada- Sanjay! What an amazing character! I hope he improves Riya !!
Btw, has anyone noticed that the Raizada's LOOK like a family.. As in they have similar features. Meera and her mom especially.. They both have very sharp features, same complexion.. Same with Riya and dad.. I mean they seem like they're in the same family.. So yeah.. Very good job!
