episode starts with gayatri looking at karkit's childhood photo when kartik comes in and tells her that he has gotten the tickets and it's after her birthday....just then namrata enters and tells them that the neighbours have come to bid goodbye to kartik with gifts.outside on the streets shubh meets jia and follows her to the gym where to enter he gives an interview for a job so that they would let him stay, and ends up getting that job cause he pretends to know jia.
everyone is helping kartik pack when shubh comes in and gives the great news that he has gotten a job, they all rejoice. At night gayatri and parikshat are finishing packing kartik's bags when gayatri gets emotional parikshat joins in. next morning gayu is praying when the kids and par are planning something when gayu tells everyone that they should return early cause it's kartik's last dinner tonight, the whole family gets emotional.
at dinner time gayatri is feeding kartik when he says he will miss her food and they get emotional again. later that night gayu is all depressed when par comes and consoles her..just then all the kids come out singing happy birthday, they cut the cake par gives gayu a gift and they have a moment.....parikshat then gifts kartik a suit to which he is shocked cause it is downmarket and doesn't reply....everyone is shocked...the end...
