jaya I will updating another part today. Would prefer all 4 parts reviewed together. You give detailed comments, even if no one else needs them as a writer I need them. I am really missing your detailed comments.

Chapter 85- Am I the same

Sreedhar and Sudhir were in the car. Sudhir was driving. They had started early morning 4 am as the journey was close to 15-16 hrs from Jaipur. Sudhir had first thought of bus, but then car looked the better option as it will give them freedom of movement. Also both of them could take turns driving. They knew it will take them a day to reach Raipur, collect all information in another day and return back with all evidence before 6pm on 27^th.

They stopped on a roadside dabba for breakfast " Bhaiyya how is Renu Bhabi. Did Vindhya Bhabi talk anything to you "

" Why Sreedhar did Suman tell something to you. I saw you got a letter from her as we were leaving the room after the discussion"

Sreedhar smiled" I don't know why she wrote like that, but I guess after Renu Bhabi broke down yesterday she might have felt whether I have any grievances on her being married to another man, how much ever short the duration was she is another man's wife, a widow and is she still the same for me the way she was before marriage"

" Your Vindhya Bhabi can read minds. She told me yesterday that Suman will ask you this question and yes she also wants to know what you feel about it. So what do you feel " Sudhir asked as they got up.

" Bhaiyya I don't know what exactly to tell. See I love Suman. I love her deeply. I am not sure why she should equate me with Renu Bhabi. Because in Bhabi's case Tilak Bhaiyya loved someone else. But in my case yes Murali Bhaiyya married her. To the society she is Murali Bhaiyya's wife, his widow but I know she had only loved me.She only loves me. Yes the situations forced a marriage on her which she didn't wanted. She fought tooth and nail against it. Even after marriage she didn't succumb to her fate instead was trying every way to be loyal to me, my love. Even now without demanding a thing, not even putting a small pressure on me why I am not making things easier for her she suffers mutely whatever that comes her way including the useless barbs that is thrown at her. Why should she be different for me. She cannot be Bhaiyya. My only pain is I couldn't save her from this trauma, this pain, this turmoil and so the called perceived change by the society that she is no longer my Sumi, but Suman Murali Varma"

" You told her " Sudhir asked

" No didn't get time, was also thinking whether I could know what Vindhya Bhabi thought also. Does she feel I have grievances "

" Sreedhar both me and Vindhya know you have grievances and that grievance has nothing to do with Suman before marriage and after marriage, it has lot more to do with why you couldn't prevent that marriage. What if you had talked about it to Murali or Vindhya when you had come for first year break or even when you came for Jagratha and Diwali during your second year. Did your silence cost Suman her life, her graduation, her dreams. Am I right"

" Yes Bhaiyya you are right absolutely right. If I had told then who knows maybe our parents would have done a roka or atleast a formal conformation on us being a pair. But then you know when I came for first year break nanu's health was not good, I went there and was mostly there for the break. Murali Bhaiyya busy with business problem. Then of course nanu passed away and that was not the time to talk about any of this . Jagratha and Diwali came for a day and to be frank at that time participating in that US conference was running on my head and my attention was more on preparing for national level competition. Between US and love I guess I chose US , she had warned me about her father, I knew the name of Murali Bhaiyya's would be wife but nothing registered in the excitement of attending US conference and for that oversight more than me she is paying the heavy price. And see now this type of questions"

" Sreedhar Suman wants assurance. Give her that. She wants to be sure that you are not willing to start a life with her because you are obliged. Because you feel guilty and the way to salvage your guilt is marrying her"

" Bhaiyya how I am supposed to do that. I mean give assurance. You have the experience of 10 years. Help me in handling this " he chuckled.

" Sreedhar the best way is to talk. Talk to her about something that you both connect and use that to give her assurance. Don't worry after this thing get closed me and Vindhya will help you both to have a good private talk. I guess you both need it "

" Thanks Bhaiyya. Actually you know roaming around in bike, watching movies, chatting in lover's corner was so easy. But now every point opens a new question that leaves both of us in confusion "

" Don't worry Sreedhar. It happens to all couples when you face the harsh realities of life. I am really surprised the way you both are handling it. It is not at all easy especially with the kind of emotional turmoil you face. Look how Tilak Bhaiyya and Anu Bhabi succumbed. They rebelled, but then that rebellion created lot of problems and they couldn't handle those problems and didn't know where to turn for help. Now the question is of the child too. Not even sure how she will take it when truth comes in front of her"

" Yes Bhaiyya I also have that concern. How Poornima will take it. It will be shattering for her. Bhaiyya you are driving for long time now. Come this side. I will start driving"

They changed places. Continued talking about Poornima's feelings, how they need to handle it and by the time they reached Raipur it was 8pm. They checked into a small hotel for the night. Tomorrow they have to start collecting the information and close it tomorrow itself and start their journey back.

I like how you bring out things.. Suman's qs to me felt so abrupt but after reading the answer realised yes it is very much important for Suman and how she might be feeling.. though it's still surprising to read that two people who can read each other so well feel so insecure.. but ya insecurities can creep from anywhere. Aur yeh sudhir itna gyani kabse bana.. khud toh itna saal nikala bina assurance diye.. but he's becoming know it all now.. like mother like son type..

@ ria did vindhya ask question. When she asked sudhir gave her assurance. Also sudhir vindhya doesn't have major complications. It's an arranged marriage which they both managed but sree Suman is helping them to connect emotionally. @beautiful certain question has to be discussed between couples at right time. It is that freedom to ask questions and discuss them out will keep a relation strong in long run

Chapter 86- The Raipur diary, Your Sister

Sudhir showed the address to the hotel manager and asked directions to reach the place. The manager told them the direction. Sudhir and Sreedhar reached the place mentioned. It was a 2 storey building , quite old. Sreedhar rang the bell. A young girl opened the door. Seeing Sreedhar she shouted " Maa, Bapu look who is here. Sreedhar Varma" . Sreedhar blushed deep red as Sudhir smiled. Well maryada ya bandhan has got Sreedhar good mileage. An old man followed by his wife came. " Sreedhar babu, come come. We are honored " told the man.

The lady asked the daughter to bring tea. The man looked quizzingly at Sudhir. " Ji Namasthe" Sreedhar told. " This is my brother Sudhir Varma "

" Namasthe Sudhir babu, may we know what brings you here. How can we poor people help you "

" Ji we are here to know more about a person called Harkishore and his family. We got this address. Do you know him and family "

" Sreedhar babu they were our tenants for close to 15 years, only went back to Jaipur this year after his wife's death. What do you want to know about them. He is a good respectable man saabji. Has a very loving grand daughter called Poornima. Poor girl lost the father before birth and mother well that girl died when she was just about 5 years. "

Sreedhar showed the photo and asked " Are these the same people you are talking about"

The lady and the man took the photo and then told " Yes same people. The woman looked at Anu's photo. " Sreedhar babu how beautiful Harkishoreji's daughter look in this photo. How different she looked when she came here. Poor thing had even shaved her head and never came out of her room except when we took her to hospital for her delivery"

" She had delivery in hospital" asked Sudhir as those days delivery in home was common and rarely people went to hospital especially in small towns like this

" Yes Sudhir Babu. The midwife had come. But what to say, she didn't give birth even after having pain for atleast 9-10 hrs. I remember it very clearly because her mother had called me. Poor girl. She was crying and was terrified also. Then her brother told they will go to hospital. In hospital they told that what you say cutting the stomach"

" Caesarian" told Sreedhar " That only Caesarian they took her for that. The girl told she will die or something and asked her mother to keep the child's name Poornima if it is a girl, Adithya if it is a boy as that was what the child's father wanted"

Sudhir and Sreedhar looked at each other. Once again the name. Renu Bhabi had confirmed that was what Tilak Bhaiyya had wanted. That's why when Aakash was born and Maa had suggested Adithya he had disagreed and had kept Aakash.

" But Sreedhar Babu, why you want to know about them" asked the man

" That you know Poornima is driving a initiative to get widows entry to temple. So the district collector wanted information on her so that they can give it to media. We are just helping the collector as I have been supporting Poornima for this noble cause"

" Ok ok I know that girl will go places one day. She is a very bright student " told the man.

" You have any photos of them being here. Something" asked Sudhir

" Yes babu, I will give you their photos from the wedding album of my eldest daughter. They were here only then. Sudha beta take Supriya didi's wedding album and give the photos to Sudhir babu"

" Yes Bapu I will get"

" Sreedhar babu tea will go cold. Please have " told the lady. Sudhir and Sreedhar took the tea

" One more question. Do you know anything about Poornima's father" asked Sudhir

" Her father no Sudhir babu. We don't know anything about him. Harkishorji and his wife never talked about their son in law. Maybe Anu was treated badly in her sasural post her husband's death. Or her sasural might have thrown her out after knowing she is carrying a baby girl. A widow, then a baby girl. All these things happen right. Maybe if she was carrying a boy the sasural might have kept her. She would have been atleast 4 months pregnant when they came here" told the lady.

Sudhir and Sreedhar sighed as the thought ran in their mind. Everyone had real good opinion about their brother and their family, the great Varma's. They thanked the family as the girl Sudha gave the photos , took information on the clinic where Anu gave birth.

Aakash, Adwaith and Namrata were seated in the diwan in the hall. Vindhya and Renu sat below looking at them. Suman and Maheswari sat in opposite chairs.

" What happened Maa. Why you look tensed. And why you and Vindhya chachi have made us sit here. It is some 10-15 minutes now" told Aakash.

Renu composed herself. She Vindhya and Suman had discussed extensively how to bring the sensitive topic in front of the kids. How to make them understand. Now they had to do it.

" Aakash, Adwaith, Nami we are going to tell you something. There are certain things about it which you will not understand now. But when you grow up you will understand. So you will not question around it, you will not feel angry about it or the most important thing Aakash and Adwaith you will not hate your Papa and Nami you will not hate your Tauji"

" Maa Papa has married someone else leaving you" asked Aakash starling everyone

" Why are you asking that Aakash" asked Maheswari

" In school Uday told his Papa left his Maa and him at her Maayka and then married someone else because his Maa couldn't bring money from her Maayka." Said Aakash. Renu decided to speak the truth then as her son knew certain things.

" Aakash your Papa had married someone. Certain circumstances made him leave her and marry your Maa. Your Papa always have felt bad about it and had wanted to correct it. But for him to correct that mistake he needs all of our support. Will you give your Papa support Aakash and Adwaith"

Aakash and Adwaith nodded. Nami looked on.

" Beta your Poornima Patel is your didi. Born to your Papa and his first wife Anusree. We all came to know about it now. We want to bring her to his house as your didi. Will you all accept her your didi. Poornima doesn't have her Maa beta. But she has Papa and I want to be Maa for her also. Will you allow"

" Poornima didi is my didi. Papa's beti. " Aakash's eyes twinkled. Adwaith and Nami smiled. " Maa if you say she is my didi then she is my didi." Told Aakash. " My didi too" echoed Adwaith. " She will come to this house, stay with us, " asked Nami.

" Yes we all have to bring her here" told Renu

" And Nami" cut in Vindhya " You are going to be in a room with Poornima didi. You are a grown up girl now. Just like the 2^nd floor room which is currently used by Aakash bhaiyya and Adwaith with bunker beds, I am going to put a bunker bed for you and Poornima in the opposite room in the 2^nd floor. You are not to wake up at night and cry ma and disturb Poornima didi. So tell me will you move to the new room with Poornima didi"

" Maa you don't worry. I like Poornima didi. I wont trouble her. I will stay with her" told Nami

Sudhir and Sreedhar were waiting in the government hospital of Raipur for past 3-4 hrs. The ward boy who took money from them for the birth record of a girl born 15 years ago has not come back.

" Bhaiyya it is 4pm now and there is no sign of that man. I feel he have cheated us. We have to start tonight itself and drive through the night if we have to reach on time tomorrow" told Sreedhar

" Sreedhar have patience. It is a 15 year old record. Also he has to get access to the record room which may not be possible in the daylight. Let us wait. Also this is a government hospital" told Sudhir. Sreedhar nodded as there was no other option. Finally the ward boy around 5 pm bought the records. It was written baby girl born to Anusree Varma on 29-Nov.

" Any chance they would have created a birth certificate " asked Sreedhar

" We will have to check registrar's office . There is a chance Sreedhar because see Harkishore is a clever man. The hospital document shows Anusree Varma which was not in Jaipur hospital. So he would have created a birth certificate which is the clinching proof in the court to order for a DNA test if it came to that. So it is very clear that someone mostly Anu or her mother stopped Harkishore from being vengeful to us. And maybe this man is playing with Mahantji to get his due Sreedhar"

" What do you mean Bhaiyya" asked Sreedhar

" Just that these rumours are created by them. This is the last chance he is giving to us. If we publicly claim Poornima's paternity well and good. If not that fool Mahant will tell Tilak Bhaiyya married Anusree Bhabi and this birth certificate will come to fore. I should have known birth certificate would have existed and instead of running around for proofs we should have just gone to registrar's office for that certificate"

" But Bhaiyya now it is 5 pm. How will we go to registrar's office. It will be closed. Also how would Tilak Bhaiyya's name added there. I mean signature of parent needed right"

" Sreedhar money would have been thrown and document created for future use. No time to discuss on that. We need to get the registrar now somehow"
