even her movie Shakti was good... commercial movie with actors like Dilip Kumar, Amitabh and Smita...what more can u want? 😊

Her Marathi movies are also good & famous:

1] Jait re Jait (Producer - Lata Mangeshkar)

The story revolves around the Thakars, a tribal caste. The hero, a drummer and a divorced lady are in love. The film highlights the traditions of the clan.

2] Umbaratha

Umbartha' in Marathi means threshold'. The film is based on Marathi novel Beghar' penned by Shanta Nisal and simultaneously made in Hindi as Subah with the same cast. The film won Best Marathi film award at National Awards and it is considered as "a sincere cinematic statement on the theme of a woman seeking to establish her identity by pursuing a career, even at the risk of alienation from her family"

Bazaar was good. If you wanna watch commercial cinema...go for Betty's recommendation.

Big B is awesome in it too. I can walk Ingliss, I can taak Ingliss because Ingliss is a bhery phunny language. Bhairon becomes Baron and Baron becomes Bhairon because their minds are bhery Narrow.

Sorry, I know it's a SMita Patil thread but that is one fun movie. 😆
