I really like obscure weird films too.

I spend most of the day watching stuff and updating my letterboxd. Oh btw if you watch a lot of films you should totally create a letterboxd aacount. It's a great way of keeping tabs on what you've seen, reviewing things and interacting with other like minded people. Plus lots of the well known critics are on it and it's easy to see their thoughts on upcoming films.

So many distractions out there instead of doing my uni work lol :(

I liked it, too.

I agree that they made a mistake in promoting it as a romance/rom-com with all those posters pre-release. That was a mistake and people were naturally disappointed.

It was a really sweet movie. I was super busy and didn't really post a review so here goes:

The movie is more about mind travel than time travel.

And then it's littered with scenes that you make you smile and laugh (at times)-Jai's confusion as to why Kat calls the gallery guy darling (?don't remember what she called him), his happiness at his own divorce proceedings, him telling his problems to that mental patient.

And I would cringe every time Jai told Diya why he loved her till he finally got it right!

The message about striking a balance and also valuing the small things in life struck a chord! (I like films with a message unless they are patronising*cough Raju Hirani cough*)

The only grouse-wish there was more meat in the supporting characters, they were thrown in and served no real purpose!
