I think her parents are not sharing exact status just to save from media glare. Even if she must be feeling more better she needs rest to get into normal routine...

Uh oh...things sound pretty grim. If there's only a 5% improvement in her health status...ammm...I don't see how she could resume shooting before the middle of next week at the earliest. Anyways...all this just shows how unsustainable the hindi tv show industry is...hard to maintain content quality for long periods of time and if a lead actor falls sick (which can certainly happen given that they are human beings), it is difficult to keep the show going!

I am sorry but I am anable to accept that there is only 5% improvement in last 10 days of hospitalisation... If dengue is detected early which is in her case than in 15 days tho life starts getting normal...
My sister had dengue... And in 15 days tho she resumed work.. Infact recently my friend had it.. She was in hospital for 3 days...her platelets count increased and got discharged.. After 7 days of rest from discharge she resumed work today for 5 -6 hrs...and she was in local hospital...
And I know lilavati is so quick and good as inmy family everyone treatment happens there only...
Plz don't bash me as I am judt trying to understand the situation and sharing my experience with dengue...
I think she is precautionary and wants to take discharge when she is 90% ok...which is good.

I had dengue almost a year and half back. In hospital for 3 days, worked from home another 5 days since I would get bored and joined work after 12 days including 2 weekends. Sure I worked only 5-7 hours on the first few days. But maybe my platelets were in better state than Nikita's.
