Part 1
All the students were expecting Arnav & Khushi to win the competition. Khushi had also been a part of Lavanya's dance show 'Munni Badnaam Hui' which was a group dance. There were many other male & female participants. Arnav & Khushi are the hot favourites. This was not an ordinary competition as a very important, rich & influential person would be rewarding them.Itis an Inter College competition. A lady comes to the stage to reward the participants. She is none other than Maan's grandmother, Savitri Devi Khurana.
The judges: The winners of the male singing & dance competion is...
All the spectators shouted,"Arnav, Arnav, Arnav, Arnav, Arnav, Arnav, Arnav, Arnav, Arnav, Arnav..."
Judge screamed: Yes, It is Arnav Singh Raizada. Give him a big hand. Arnav, come to the stage & collect your reward.
Arnav, NK & Dev come to the stage to collect it. Savitri Devi gives them a huge shield & cash of Rs. 10000/- to each.
When the judges announce for the winner among the females, there are a lot of chaos. all were shouting, "Khushi, Khushi, Khushi, Khushi, Khushi, Khushi, Khushi..."
The judges then announce Khushi's group as the winner of female singing & dance competion. They too get the shield & Rs.10000/- cash to each.
Lavanya too gets rewarded for her performance.
Savitri Devi gives her final speech after congratulating the winners. She gives them a visiting card to sing & dance in her company where Geet is already working.
Dev and Gupta sisters are very much excited about it whereas Raizada brothers are nervous to go home as they have to face their elder brother Brij and their dad Bajaj.
Both hate music for the known reason and they don't want Arnav and NK to make their career in that field.
Dev went to them and said, "You have made it. Then why you guys are so dull."
NK: We are happy but you know very well that our dad and veerji don't like these things. I don't know how whether our mom and Ragini bhabhi will be able to cover it like they always do.
Arnav: Please take our rewards. We won't be able to face our dad and bro.
Dev: I know you guys can cover it. Just say that you have won in basketball intercollegiate competition or got the scholarship. Simple as that. You guys are also good at basketball right?
Arnav: They also hate sports as much as they hate music.
Dev: Then tell them it was a crossword competition.
NK: Yes Nannav, Dev is right.
Dev: Give me a ring and tell me about the situation. Bye see you.
Arnav and NK come by bike to their house.
Arnav: Just hope that dad and Big B has gone for the business tour.
NK: Yes, they were discussing about the business tour in the evening. I just wish they are not there.
All other neighbouring boys came & said: Don't think we don't know anything. We too saw you in TV. Arnav and NK get tensed and hope their dad and the most feared person Brij has not seen them.
The boys said, "I know why you are afraid but you know very well they don't see this channel."
NK: But they are quite unpredictable. Brij will kill us if he gets to know.
The boys said, I will check whether they are there are not. Come lets play cricket.
Arnav and NK join them. Thy go to the ground with their trophies.
One of the guys start batting. NK does the bowling. The guy hits the ball to the top such that it goes inside the Raizada House through their window.
The boy said, "I guess the ball has gone to your house. Both of you be here. We will tell you the status."
They go to Raizada Mansion. They security stops them but Arnav came and said, "He is our neighbour. Let him in."
The security lets them inside. Ragini sees them and asks, "What is the matter?"
One of the guys name is Rocky. He said, "While playing, the ball has come to your house. We have come to collect that."
Ragini: Well, that is nothing new. You people always do that. Anyway, I will get the ball.
Rocky: We want a glass of water.
Ragini: I will ask the servant to get it. You be outside.
Rocky & his friends think, "It seems either Bajaj or Brij must be there. That is why they are not letting us inside."
Harish: The house is quite big but I think more than home, it is a madhouse wherein no one understands anybody's feelings. I feel sorry for Arnav & NK. They don't even see how much talented these guys are!
Rocky: Well said Harish. Give me a fi.
Prerna sees them & tells them: Come inside. I need to give prasad to your parents.
They come in.
Rocky: While playing, our ball came inside your house. We have come to take it.
Prerna: Of course you can. But next time if you do it, we won't give you the ball.
Rocky & his friends go inside the room where the ball is. They took the ball & found out in the process that neither Bajaj nor Brij is in the house. Prerna sends them with the prasad.
The guys went to Arnav & NK.
They asked: What happened?
Harish: You are very lucky. Your dad & bro are not there.
Arnav: Thank God.
Gupta House
Shashi & Garima congratulated the girls for their performance. The girls give their prize money to Shashi & Garima for their household expenses. However they said, "The money is yours. You can take whatever you want."
Khushi: But you all can keep it.
Garima: I know you guys are responsible & trustworthy. I have full faith in you all that it won't be misused.
The girls then start studying. Geet then gets ready for her night shift. The cab comes to their place. Geet gets into the cab.
Raizada House
Arnav & NK enter the house.
Prerna: Why are you guys late. The competition would have got over long back right?
Ragini: O mummyji, you know your boys very well. They won the competition but they are afraid to face our men in the house. You & me have been doing it all these years.
Arnav & NK show the trophy to Prerna who congratulates them.
Arnav: So you are with us.
Prerna: Yes my boy, I have always supported you all & will also support you in future. For the fear of your dad and brother you guys are late.
NK:Yes mom. And this was not an ordinary competition. We got the huge shield and cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- each.
Prerna: I'm there. Why do you fear? I know that Brij was beating up you people for participating in extra curricular activities but Ragini or myself was always saving you guys.
Arnav: Sorry mom.
Both hand the cash to Prerna. However she said, "The money is yours. You can buy whatever you want. "
Arnav: One of our neighbours said, it will get published in newspapers. That time dad and Brij will come to know.
Prerna: Leave that to me. I'll take care.
Arnav and NK go to the room. Arnav calls us Dev and said, "Dad and bro are not there. I want to ask you whether will this competition come in newspapers?"
Dev: Yes of course.
Arnav: That is what we don't want. You know...
Dev: Yes, I know your dad and bro very well. But I can control it as it is in my grandmother's and bro's hands. I will tell them not to put it in newspapers.
After hanging up the phone,
Dev goes to Shubhadradevi & said: I have a request for you.
Daadi: Tell me.
Dev: Arnav and NK are my friends who are very much talented in music and dance but their father and elder brother hates music. If they see their photos, my friends will be severely punished. Please don't publish it.
Daadi:But one day or the other they will get to know the truth. Anyway, I wont publish it and I will tell Maan as well. I have offered all of you to perform in our company. I don't want to lose them.
She then calls up Maan and requests him, "The winner contestents does not want their photos to be published in papers. So please grant their requests."
Maan agrees but decides to find out the reason
