Bipasha Basu had the perfect recipe for John Abraham's 35th birthday (December 17). The actor, who was unsure about what to do for his birthday, consulted Bipasha who mumbled that she had a lot of work for the day. Little did John know that Bips had already organised a party at her Khar residence, complete with food, family, friends and flowers.

A source close to the actress tells us, "Bipasha simply asked John to join her for dinner at her place. He had no idea that Bips had secretly organised a party for which she had been planning for a week."

Bipasha organised an intimate dinner with chocolate cake, elaborate flower decorations and close friends only. She sought help from designer Rocky S, who happens to be a good friend.

A source close to the actress says, "Bipasha got some great food for the party. Usually, actors tend to restrain themselves from indulging in heavy meals. She however, went all out and ordered lots of sea food and John's favourite vegetarian dishes."

A source present at the do says, "It was a scene straight out of a film. John walked into a dark house and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by his friends and family. He was thrilled and kept hugging and thanking Bipasha for the wonderful dinner and party."
