The film has had some budgetary issues and hence, they have scrapped their International schedules...
We were the first ones to tell you that Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez are coming together for Bang Bang's sequel which would be titled Reloaded. And while the actors denied that they were shooting for Bang Bang 2. we gave you PROOF that they are! The makers (Fox Star India) wanted to make the next installment even bigger and better. They brought on board Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. (Raj & DK) to direct their film and planned some fabulous International shoots for the film. But after completing their Miami schedule, looks like Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez's Bang Bang 2 has run into some deep trouble. Bang Bang had some issues and now looks like its sequel has run into trouble too.
Earlier, a schedule was planned to be shot in either Malaysia or Thailand in October but these plans have now fallen through! In fact, the second big schedule had been shifted from Malaysia to Thailand after the Reloaded team failed to get shooting subsidies in Malaysia, but according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the whole international schedule has been scrapped... In fact, Sidharth and Jacqueline will now resume the shoot in Mumbai's Worli village next week. This could be a direct result of the budgetary cuts that most of the studios have undertaken coz of the huge losses they have been facing!
A source revealed to the tabloid, "We begin rehearsals by this weekend. Some hi-octane car chase sequences will be filmed, including one featuring Sidharth (Malhotra) and Darshan (Kumar) whose car gets stuck between two buildings. They play cadets being mentored by Suniel Shetty, an ex-colonel. After plans to shoot in Thailand fell through due to budgetary constraints, the team felt that Worli village was perfect location for the shoot."
The source further revealed that that the month-long schedule in Miami was more about the romance between Sidharth and his leading lady, Jacqueline, while the action scenes were going to be shot in Malaysia. Now, a major chunk of action sequences will be shot during this Mumbai schedule after which the Fox Star Studios will decide if or when the shoot will take place in the International locations. We hear that Thailand and Europe are still on the cards. The film's spokesperson however chose not to comment on this!

MALAYSIA TO THAILAND TO MAXIMUM CITY

Mirror had earlier reported (September 8) that the next schedule of the second Bang Bang film, Reloaded, had been shifted from Malaysia to Thailand after the team failed to get shooting subsidies.
Now, we hear the international schedule has been scrapped, and the team will resume shooting in Mumbai's Worli village from early next week. "We begin rehearsals towards the weekend. Some hi-octane car chase sequences will be filmed, including one featuring Sidharth (Malhotra) and Darshan (Kumar) whose car gets stuck between two buildings. They play cadets being mentored by Suniel Shetty, an ex-colonel. After plans to shoot in Thailand fell through due to budgetary constraints, the team felt that Worli village was perfect location for the shoot," a source from the film's team told Mirror, adding that the month-long schedule in Miami was all about the romance between Sid and his leading lady, Jacqueline Fernandez. A major chunk of action sequences will be wrapped up in this Mumbai schedule after which Fox Star Studios will decide if or when the shoot will move to international locations. Thailand and Europe are reportedly still on the cards.
The film's spokesperson chose not to comment.
MEANWHILE...
At the end of her rope
After the release of her last film, A Flying Jatt, Jacqueline Fernandez took off to New York to attend the Fashion Week. She also visited a trapeze school. "I wanted to do something different and trying out trapeze on the Hudson River was a great way to explore the city. I love outdoor sports and had wanted to try this for a long time," Jackie said, adding that she enjoys taking off on her own once in a while to explore sights when she is in a new city.
