Junooniyat REVIEW

Pulkit is an Army Captain who rescues Yami because she decides to swim alone in a prohibited lake and is taken under custody. The next thing is their brigadier invites her to their Army party. She is forced to dress in a very short dress which she isnt clearly comfortable, then she is also forced to drunk and get wasted by the Army and after some song and dance she falls in love with Pulkit. She goes back to Amritsar but her parents do not approve of their relationship because they have lost some family in Army. Yami decides to teach them a lesson and runs off with him to some hotel where they probably paid cash and drops her pants for him. Her parents get mad and put her into curfew after giving her a desi parent lecture about mooh kala and what not. She runs off again to meet Pulkit who is now getting engaged to Brigadiers daughter. Then she gets butt hurt at him and decides to marry a NRI from Canada in some big fat wedding. Pulkit happens to save her groom on her wedding day ala DDLJ style and is invited into the party. NRI dude's sister has all hots for Pulkit while Pulkit and Yami are playing hide and seek and all bothered up. In typical climax her would be groom gives the sacrifice so that Pulkit and Yami could be together.

I left out about a zillion bloopers, inaccuracies and mind f**k that occurs during this movie.

All in all it seems like Yami bet on the wrong horse and Pulkit is going to be a dead weight in their relationship and she is going to drop him like a sack of potato and move on.
