The days of Aditya Chopra's and KJo's mushy and cheesy romance flicks are truly gone! May be only a KHNH will work today but definitely not DDLJ or KKHH.
But well made, slice of life love saga does work JWM, BBB being the prime examples.

yes, more or less... i used to love them but i dont like them.. i prefer comedies, action etc.. there are millions like me... old styl movies of girl. boy love, family problems, relationship problems dont work anymore... people dont want to go to cinema to cry and think

not really.yjhd,jtyjn,jwm etc worked pretty well.Love stories will do good if executed in a fresh way.Cheesy ott treatment wo'nt work now.

Hmm so true ! Nowadays people are more interested in fights and twists and masala . And honestly masala movies don't have good romance .

Era of pure love ? I guess that's already done . As long as we have Mahesh Bhatt and Sajay Leela Bhansali "pure" is rare combo of romance. Nowadays all romantic movies are about Muaah and aahh 🤬🤣

i don't believe in the "era is gone" theory. you can't make movies like sanam re, fitoor, junooniyat and expect them to work . why did ki and ka, KAS work then?
