Agree with you about the burden he carries, but hate what he is now saying and is bent upon doing... But God gave him that drop-dead gorgeous face and the CVs the sad backstory also for a reason - so we couldn't hate him completely...😃

Coming to your first point, the flight, basic instinct. He does that and so far he has managed to get away it. He inherits it from both his parents. His mom choses to leave her family and his father choses to throw the problem away. As you rightly mentioned in the earlier thread the problem according to Ramnath is always on the outside. He is not the one to remove the log in his own eye before seeing the speck in his brother's. Shravan was presented with a skewed view of reality. He fled physically, he even distanced himself emotionally from Sumo but why then did he come back to help her ? Why did he have to always be the knight in shining armour and her "only" hero. The answer is simple, the faster he flees, the stronger he comes back. Every single time, that is Shravan Malhotra. And I am not defending Sharvan either (because I claim to be a Sumo person😉) . So now, the solution and the problem are the same. Sumo is the problem but marring Suman is the solution. He opts for it, primarily because that is his only way out. His problem starts because he consented and it was his own decision. If you remember the earlier episodes there is a dialogue

"Shravan Malhotra apne faisle khudh karta hai" and yes this is a Shravan Malhotra faisla. Probably the best decision he has made in his entire life, consequences not withstanding. I don't know if Shravan has realised what it means to be a husband and wife. If he has taken this decision, he has to be with Sumo for better or for worse and no one forced him, so he has no one to blame except himself.So he will have to look within and Sumo will stand by him, no doubt about that.

Sumo will do anything for him "Main tumahre liye apna jaan bi de sakti hoon" and that is almost what she will be doing, she will have to give up her dreams and her self respect, but the moment there is someone else to help her with her dream Shravan will come running, he has to be the one, no matter what. His redemption will start the moment he realises that someone unconditionally loves him. That Sumo has loved him all along for what he is, despite what he is today. But, when Sumo comes to know of what he told Adithya, though the consequences were not his intention, he will feel unworthy of her.

Secondly, I had used the term "monster" for the new Shravan and you have used the term "Devil" , so we are close. This monster feeds on negativity and targets anyone who has wronged it. Till now it was Sumo, Nirmala , Adithya, but when the tables turn it will be his father, his idol, the very man who created this monster. The big question is how will the monster handle that, will it target him or will it break down ? Or will targeting it be its breakdown.

They have carefully created the stack, one conflict on top of the other and when each conflict starts getting resolved it will be both nerve racking and heart wrenching. I hope I didn't write too much.

Ten years back he wasn't given the choice to be Sumos friend she chose him as her friend her very own Chashmish superman

secondly he was denied the choice by his mother to go with her or to stay back with papa he did know parents had issues that's why he told papa dearest I'm sure you must have fought with her and she went away

Thirdly London and becoming a lawyer was his dad's choice not his the boy's only desire was to be beside sumo study what she does join the college as hers basically be her shadow but we know how that ended up 😭

Ten years forward sumo denied him the choice to be her Chashmish superman during pp times secondly courtesy chomu's manipulation he's got the picture that he's no longer even a part of sumo's choice as a friend" he's not Sumos choice for a life partner he's now a second choice for sumo since Aditya didn't work out theek hain I'm willing to marry you 😕

Culminating all this together please tell me guys why wouldn't he try to drown himself in alcohol and clearly I'm against alcohol as an escape mechanism but the dudes mechanism of escapism is RUNNING but this time he's running by staying put 😆 am I even making sense
