Recap: Anu says she will not get out of the way so Sanju can have Sid. Rekha's rista is finalized and so is the wedding date. Sanju tells her family that she and Sid told Anu the truth, and the family is happy.
- Next morning, Sanju is busy writing her column again, and seems happy. The entire Patel family is gathered around talking about what they need for Rekha's wedding. Chandu asks how many saries do we need to give Rekha, Aai says that atleast over 21 sarees, and Chandu says that since Karan family is rich, Rekha will need expensive sarees. Chandu says the even though Karan's family is willing to pay for the entire wedding we have some izaat to consider. Chandu says we will need to spend a lot of our money. Neetu speaks you mean Prakash's money, only Prakash earns in this family. If Prakash spends all the money of Rekha's wedding, what about Rachana's wedding, we will have nothing left. Prakash tells her to shut up, but Neetu says those who can't pay for their own daughter's weddings, what can we expect from them when its time to marry our daughter. Prakash says that you know that Chandu doesn't work, Neetu keeps on talking. Finally Prakash tells her to please shut up. Neetu goes away, and Prakash follows.
- Chandu also walks away. Rekha's mom looks upset, but Sanju tells her not to worry, Sanju says she has some money saved in the bank, and she will go get it, and they will manage. Chandu comes and says no will pay for this wedding. Chandu tells his wife that he is going to the goa, they have some land there, he will sell it. Chandu leaves. Prakash tells Chandu's wife not to worry, he will get Rekha married in high style, and not to take Neetu's words to heart. She tells him Neetu is right, they need to think about Rachana. She also tells him that Chandu went to the goa to get money.
- Karan is romancing his girlfriend (Maher???) in his office. Maher is looking at the ring Karan got, and says I thought you got this for Rekha, but Karan says he got it for her. Karan says just once he gets married to Rekha, then no one can seperate them. The reason Karan is marrying Rekha is for his parents sake. Once married, he and Maher can be together and not even his parents can stop him.
- Anu calls Sid over to her computer, and show him Sanju's column and asks him to read out loud Sanju's name. Sid gets angry and says why is she doing this, I thought they had decided everything already, and he doesn't want to hurt her. Anu says just seeing Sanju's name, Sid gets so emotional, he cares about her. Sid says yes I care about her, she was a part of my life for so long, its hard to forget her. Anu thinks that I will never let Sanju ruin my marriage, she will never be successful, I will have to keep a good eye on the both of them.
- At the Patil house, everyone is talking about sweets. Rachana says they should order the sweets from outside. Neetu says no, its their family's tradition to make the first sweets at home, everyone agrees. Neetu says but what will Sanju know about this, she doesn't know how to even cook. Neetu tells Sanju she might not get into a rich family like Rekha, so she needs to learn how to cook. Sanju gets sarcastic and tells Aai that Neetu is right, they all have a good laugh.
- Rekha calls Karan, who is busy romancing Meher, and talks angrily with her a little. Rekha gets a little scared and just called to ask when should she come to the office. Karan says she is his future bride, and she doesn't need to come to the office, she should take care of her family. Karan is too busy romancing his girlfriend.
- Rachana comes and teases Rekha, and they both start running, Rachana bumps into a old lady...her name is Kuki (????), I think she is someone's aunt. She criticizes the way all three of the girls are dressed, Sanju is wearing a kurta and jeans, and she asks Sanju where the rest of her dress is. She tells Neetu that she didn't teach Rachana how to dress either, and then looks to Rekha. She tells Rekha she is getting married so she should be dressed up all the time. Aai, and Neetu and the rest welcome her in.
- Kuki is talking to Neetu, and asking who is paying for the wedding. Neetu says I put by foot down and say Prakash needs to worry about his own daughter. Kuki tells her that it is good, and that she has brought Rachana a rishta. Neetu says from the goa, but Kuki reassures her its from the city, and very rich family, millionares, and the boy's name is Vivek. Neetu gets excited, but Kuki says there is a problem the family also has an older son, who they want to get married before they think about Vivek. Neetu ask how old is her, Kuki says 30. Kuki says if we can find him a nice girl, then next we can get our Rachana married quickly. Neetu says consider the girl found....Sanjana. Kuki says Sanju will never marry, and will never agree to this. Neetu says leave it to me, and I will make sure Sanju agrees.
