Nice update.

Arnav and Khushi both are growing feelings for each other.

Anjali also is happy, the only person is not happy is their mother. Waiting to know more.

Chapter 6

Arnav walked in the dining space and looked at everyone but didn't say anything and took sit there, he was going to serve himself when he noticed Khushi wasn't there. Arnav looked at Madhu and flicked his eyes which Mrs Raizada noticed, "I asked servant to send her food in her room."

"Why? Can't she join us here?" Arnav glared.

"No. She can't."

"Fine.." Arnav stood up pushing his chair back, everyone glared at him. Arnav didn't pay any attention to his family and called one servant, "Serve my and Khushi's dinner.. We will have it together in her room." But the servant looked at Mrs Raizada to get her approval but Arnav yelled, "Just do what I said to you."

"Arnav.. What are you doing?" Mrs Raizada asked.

"Nothing maa.. Khushi can't join here but I can go to her right? And that's what I am doing. You enjoy your dinner." saying this Arnav was going to leave when he saw the servant came, he took the tray from his hand.

"Bro wait..!" Madhu stopped him, "Bro.. Bha.." But she paused as Arnav glared at her, "I mean Khushi.. She is nice, can I join with you?"

"Madhu?" Mrs Raizada roared.

"Oho maa..!" Madhu walked to her and bend to her ear and whispered, "Maa try to understand.. Bhai will be alone there in her room, who knows she try to misuse the situation but don't worry.. I will not let her succeed in any of her trap." Meanwhile Arnav curiously looking at Madhu when she winked at him with a smile, Arnav sighed and made his stern look saying, "Madhu are you coming?"

"Yes.. Yes bro.. Let's go..!" Madhu took leave before giving a fake assuring smile to Mrs Raizada.

Arnav and Madhu approached to Khushi's room door laughing as Madhu told her brother what she said to their mother. Arnav knocked on the door and waited for her to open but they didn't get any response when again he knocked while calling her by name, "Khushi..?!" After a while they heard the door was opening, Arnav looked at her confused when Khushi replied, "Sorry I slept."

Arnav looked into her eyes where he saw a glint of tears, "When you can't lie, don't ever try to do this." Hearing him, Khushi blinked her to clear her vision when Madhu excitedly said, "Bhabhi we came here to have dinner with you."

Khushi smiled and moved from their way to let them walk in. Madhu placed the tray on the table saying, "You know it was bro's idea to dinner with you." Khushi looked up at Arnav and they exchanged a warm smile.

"Madhu you leave it. I will serve." Khushi said taking the plate from her hand.

Meanwhile Arnav was standing by the window lost in thoughts - he could hear Madhu's excited chattering. Then he heard a gentle chuckle and turned to the sound to find Khushi shyly chuckling at what Madhu was saying. She was so beautiful, Arnav thought amazed, he watched her mesmerized when a lose hair strand kept disturbing her as it kept caressing her cheeks and she kept tucking it behind her ears only to have it caressed her again in a minute. Somehow that gesture was making her all the more beautiful and he had this uncontrollable urge to be that hair though rather than caressing, he wanted to kiss her cheeks then she should shyly push him away and he should keep kissing her.. God!! What has happened to him?? As if sensing his gaze on her she turned to look at his side and they kept looking at each other as they felt a pull towards each other.

"Bro..!" Arnav felt a jerk on his body, he looked at side and saw Madhu calling, "Come.. Have dinner.." Arnav shook and they had their dinner.

"Bhabhi.. You leave them, I will call servant, they will clean it." Madhu suggested.

"Yes.. Madhu is right. You don't need to do all this." Arnav also said but Khushi said, "It's okay.. I used with it." saying this she was going to clean but Madhu said, "Bhabhi.. Bro isn't telling us anything but I know him.. He is feeling guilty, the way he is hiding you from his own family.. Please don't make things hard for him." Khushi looked at Arnav who was standing at the window side, she walked to him.

"You are my wife Khushi.. It's true that I can't say that to the whole world now but I won't let you behave like a servant here." Arnav said straight looking outside.

"I am not treated as servant here. We never had servants at my place and I am used to doing all this. I feel uncomfortable with people running after me." Khushi said playing with her knuckles. Arnav sighed and faced her saying, "It is difficult for me to understand because I am used to this kind of a lifestyle but I guess I get what you are trying to tell me.. But Khushi, today you got married. If you were married to anyone except me you would have been treated like a Princess today.. I am sorry that I am putting you through all this."

Meantime Khushi had tears in her eyes, she shook her head in no saying, "No.. I should thank you Arnav jee.. If you're not with me then what I would I do. After bauji leave me, I became so alone, you took a good care." Arnav stepped towards her and took his hand to her cheek, he was about to touch her when he saw Khushi looking at his hand nervously and he turned away quickly.

"I will go and clean the table." She whispered nervously and took leave from there.

After finishing everything Madhu and Arnav turned to Khushi, "Good night, Bhabhi.." Madhu said hugging her.

"Goo.. Good ni.. Night.." She said smiling hugging her back.

"Good night." Arnav told her in a soft tone, she smiled.

She locked her door after they leaves and walked towards her empty bedroom and gets on the bed. She was too tired, she lied on the bed sadly, today was her suhaag raat and she was all alone in this room. She knew he had no choice but somewhere deep down it hurt to realize that she was going to be alone for some days and soon drifted in sleep.

After some time later, Khushi felt someone's presence "Who.. Who is there??" She started sweating, "Ar.. Arnav jee.." She called him as she saw someone in the room.

"Arnav jee!!" She loudly called him when Arnav got up from his sleep sweating.. "Khushi..!!" He whispered her name worriedly.

Khushi was still awake thinking of her husband, her father, finally she was about to give in to her tears when she heard the knock. Her heart came in her mouth, Khushi walked towards the door scared who could it be at the door at this time? She heard the knock again and opened the door to find her husband nervously standing there.

"You?" She asked shock..

"Why?? Do you expecting someone else?" He asked with a confused frown.

"No.. I don't mean it. I thought you would have slept by now.." She told him not wanting to tell him about thoughts.

"I couldn't sleep.." Arnav told her nervously.

"Why?"

"It's our wedding night and you are all alone here. So..."

"So?" She asked confused..

"I came here to be with you..." Arnav said looking into her eyes.

god Mrs. raizada give khushi a break man if she ever comes to know khushi is her daughter in law she would burn down half of India then some more. love how madhu n arnav spend time with khushi that was sweet n what madhu told her mom was funny.

Mr arnav couldn't sleep huh he said its there first night let's see if he gets it on but I knw he wouldn't bcuz if mommy find out then it would be world war 3.
