When Nandini got back together with Akshay she didn't know the circumstances of his marriage. She was obviously pursuing him with a vengeful motive. The fact that Akshay ostensibly had a daughter who could be hurt in the process did not deter her. Now that he has told her the circumstances of his marriage she is gonna care even less. I wouldn't be surprised if she is the one who tells Neeti that Akshay is not her real dad. Her clinginess and her following him to Delhi shows she is a true bunnyboiler .
