I'm impressed.

It is true that most of the songs these days sound exactly same and not worth listening twice. It is hard to believe that quality of music in our movies have fallen so much. Just listen to the 70's or 80's chartbusters. So much better lyrics and melody. Though I totally don't like the voice of Lata ji in many songs. She was overused in my opinion.

he is speaking the truth...its bitter but thats the truth...they are being unfair with singers too..thats why nowadays udit...sonu...shaan...alka...auradha...kavita krishnamurthy...kumar sanu...lata ji...the great singers of that era is missing...singing and music is saraswati...but the producers.. directors...music company even the actors disrespects saraswati by making and selling music for money...the only people understand music and respect music as saraswati is Bhatt Camp and Kjo...at least this two producers respect music and Bhatt camp always encourage new talent...

There was a time when the orchestra was live during the recordings, There used to be rehearsals with the singers, modulation decided with the composer.. now it seems music has whittled down to prerecorded background music, single take singers with autotuner running and half hour recordings to save money on studio rental.. quality music happens despite the composers and producers, not due to them anymore..
