Oberoi company is a multiple business conglomerate, they are into multiple things like Airlines, Pharmaceuticals (this seems to be their main business as they are mostly worried about the pharma division and contract or else this might be a loss making unit), Constructions, Petroleum, Transport among others

I think they are kind of like business investors or something. There was a dialogue by Shivery that translated into the Oberoi's dabbling into many different fields. I guess they might be some kind of company that provides financing? That's the only explainable theory i have come up with. Usually Gul Khan leaves the business and work area in all grey when she starts a show for god knows what reason.
