The perfectly, imperfect family❤️
I love that. They would never have fought like that had they not accepted each other as family in the truest sense. Little schemers all of them😆And Payal is the sweetest. I just imagined the Palak in the scene where she called Aarti mummy for the first time after Palak's disastrous Party. The cutest nunu's everAnd MBKK, out of the mouths of babes. Yes lurking at keyholes and behind doors. Everyone knew but no one had the courage to say but in purity Payal spoke the truth. 😆She is so protective of everyone at such a tender age. AawwwAnd yeah🥳 Aarti gave the tube light a light bulb moment. Get that woman a man. She is frustrated and needs to be "otherwise" occupied for sure. Maybe go out on a coffee date😉😆And those two, ground the children and go for a little hanky panky. Clever parents, not? 😳Yet Aarti could not get the sadness of her angel out of her mind, after of course.😆 And lo and behold there is peace in the children's room. As Yash earlier states, that little miss is too clever for words. She even got her siblings to play together peacefully.I love how Aarti and Yash make sure that the kids realize that the punishment is for their own good and they are loved as much as always. And the scene with the buys body aunt was too funny. Caught in the act and called out on it. So a marriage is on the cards for madam. They must get her a stud to keep her busy and wear her out so she can stay out of other peoples business😆Loved the story Sassy. It is so realistic. The kids interaction, the way that Aarti and Yash interacted and their banter and also the romance. As well as the scene that no one just blindly falls for buaji's tricks and even making that scene funny. Now for the next one.👏

Ms. CB I know you'll stalk this thread, so I'm replying to you first, see I'm COMMENTING. 😡. 😆
And yes Sassy I saw your comment where you said why' I'm addicted to long comments 😆The truth is sometimes readers point out things that I don't even realize when I pointed it out in my updates. That's because I become so engrossed that I myself forget things many a times and that's the truth.I agree with whatever Mario said in her comment (minus rhe ones where she hinted at me 😡. 😆).First of all Thanks so much for writing an OS specially on my Munchkins 🤗. With a dash of AarYa romance and our most beloved MBKK, without her this OS would have been incomplete 😆Oh my! AarYa and kids have come a long way. Bee is right that they have accepted each other fully and completely that's why they fight like this. Payal is so mature for her age. And so loves her Mumma. Mumma too can't see her kids, especially her Payal in distress. But Papa Bear knows how to keep Mumma distracted for a while, eh? 😉On a serious note, my most favorite part in this whole OS was this one small scene. Yash was contemplating on kids punishment, when Aarti places her hand on his shoulder. They don't have to look at each other's faces to know what the other is thinking or feeling. Her one touch assure him that she is with him every step of the way and in every decision that he will take. That one small touch is enough to show him, that she won't let him falter and she knows that he will do the same. ❤️Sassy I could really visualize munchkins fighting and arguing and AarYa reprimanding them. Yes this OS was that powerful and that well written. ⭐️I think this is one of the Best OS that I've read on AarYa kids. ⭐️Now it's a Special REQUEST that please give us an OS on BuaJi's PV and send her on a COFFEE Break like CB mentioned. 🤣No seriously please try to write an OS on that. I'm 100% sure it will be worth reading. 😳Thanks once again for an OS on my Munchkins. 🤗

aww Sassie this made me grin all through! read it again just now and loved it just as I did the first time! 😃coming from a big family I understand that the language of love for siblings is arguments, fights, and mischief 😆. even when you grow up you still relate at the same level, arguing the one moment, and the best of friends the next. that was exactly the case her and my most fav aspect of the OS. Bee had it right that they have accepted each other so wholly and have reached such a comfort level as to fight with each other. I could so easily envision all three of them. we all know Ansh and Payal are naughty and expect nothing less so more than them I loved your portrayal of Payal. The sweet angel had to resort to lying to keep her siblings from trouble and save her mother from blame only to end up creating more trouble. she is turning out to be quite smart and with siblings like Ansh and Palak she can't help but learn to strategize.coming to the parents, especially Aarti, it cannot be easy to be a working mom. she must feel guilty for depriving the children of her time; especially when they pull such stints. having to punish them must therefore be much harder and must add to her guilty feelings. luckily for her she has support in Yash who does not allow her to let her emotions runaway from her, and what a way to do it too 😉😆. I loved the support they are to each other, they have come to be a unit and will be raising some amazing kids who won't ever doubt that they are loved. also, when kids are comfortable enough to make mistakes it is because they are secure of their parents love; here they were also reassured of this fact.as for Bua and doors, thanks for the comic relief 😆 😆 the Scindhias needed a wake up call and Aarti was finally able to voice it to her hubby, now they can get her a PV too 😛😆I really loved this cute OS Sassie!
Papa's Boy
(Short Story 2)
Hello,
Here is the second short; this is not focus on Aarya but just a short idea about Ansh and Yash growing relationship. Hope you enjoys! Apologies for the mistakes.
ps: I know nothing about cricket. Just used it for the story purpose.
*
Just as the driver stopped the car in front of the main house doors, Ansh angrily jump out of it and slam the door, thankfully the girls did not immediately follow or one of them would have been hurt. The little boy run toward his room, threw his backpack on the floor in rage and start kicking his punching ball in anger.
Yash who was walking by at the same time heard the commotion and went inside
"Hello, my boy, are you training for the next boxing competition", he teases
Ansh raised his face in anger and shot back, "I am not your boy", he refutes
Yash was taken by surprise; he thought he was making headway with the boy after a rocky start. He has gotten use to the energetic little guy and truth be told he loved the time they were spending together. He loves his daughters, of course, but there was something to be said about passing man advice to a boy.
"Am not?" he asks
"You lied to me", he said pushing the ball angrily again "and mama said lying is bad"
"She is right. But what did I lie about?" Yash asks
Ansh continued his punching not answering
Yash sighs "Ansh stop hitting the ball and come here ".
"I don't wanna", Ansh said, further turning his back on Yash and continuing to angrily hit the ball.
Yash could see that Ansh needed to let his anger out and that he had to change his tactic. He walks toward Ansh, "I think you need a stronger opponent. How about a combat with me? Let's see who is the stronger one, he goads him. After all, the poor punching ball can't fight back, right", he continued positioning himself in front of Ansh. "But first let put our gloves on, ok champ". Ansh did not respond, but fiercely look at him. "I will take that as a yes". Yash concludes.
Yash took out two pairs of boxing gloves from the closet, the small one for Ansh and the other he keeps for himself, for when he and Ansh plays fake-combat. He reaches for the small hands and put the gloves on before arranging his own
"Ok, now let's start," Yash said, "oh wait, lets have some rules. We'll fight three rounds, the first to win two rounds has won and will have to talk to the other ok?", he said holding out his gloves' hands to shake on the agreement. Ansh punch back on top to agree without uttering a word.
Yash took position and before fully raising his arms to guard himself, Ansh rushes in quickly and gave him a knock in the stomach. "Aaah," Yash yells, falsely hurt falling on one knee. On the corner of his eyes, he saw Aarti about to enter the room, but signal her no with a slight shake of his head.
Aarti has been standing near the door for a few minutes now; Payal and Palak had come running in the kitchen and told her that Ansh has been in a fight at school and was punished and got detention. She had immediately run to his room, but hearing Yashji talking to Ansh, she stopped herself from barging in and listened to their conversation until the punch. Now seeing his signal, she left them alone to sort it out, and went to take care of her girls.
Yash fake-cough holding his belly and said, "well done champ, this round goes to you. Let's start again". They went at it with Yash somewhat blocking Ansh knocks. He couldn't make it easy for the boy; so he made him fall with a stronger push and ensure to catch him with his hand underneath so he doesn't get hurt. Ansh fell on his back, but quickly scrambles to get up, "My round, I won this one". Yash said, smiling victoriously.
"You pushed me and I fell, you cheat", Ansh yells even more upset
"Hey champ, all is fair in battle and boxing, my boy. You fell you lose." Yash said shrugging
"I will win, the last round, you see", Ansh shot back and came at Yash with furious energy firing knocks after knocks to make Yash fall. Yash let him exhausts himself until the anger went out of him, then let himself fall on the ground to end the fight.
"Ok, enough, you won, I lost. You are the strongest, next time I'll train first before fighting", Yash said falsely out of breath in a disappointing voice.
Ansh was now smiling, he had beaten his papa. And he didn't want to be angry anymore because he was too tired. Seeing his papa looking at him Ansh suddenly realized something, "You trick me, papa", he said
"Me!? How" Yash asks
"You are a boxing champion, you don't lose", he replied
"Of course I can lose, especially when my opponent his strongest and smarter", Yash winked
Ansh went to him and hug him "I love you, papa"
"I love you too, my boy. Now do you want to tell me what happened in school today?"
Flashback
It began with friendly game during sport class; Mr. Patel, the sport teacher was giving instructions before starting the cricket game; Ansh was very excited and couldn't wait to start; he played a little in his old school and he was sure he will make new friends too when they see that he was good.
The game started and Ansh was the first to bat. He tried his best, but the ball arrived too fast and he was quickly overtaken the first two tries. The coach came to adjust his hold on the bat and actually manage to hit the ball. He was so happy and run before the ball came back. Soon after he was on the wide field waiting to catch the next shot. On the last run, he runs to catch the ball when he suddenly got tripped by a foot. He fell face first; turn around only to find two boys meanly sneaking over him. He scrambles to get up.
"Hey, what did you do that; I will tell the teacher and he will scold you, you see", Ansh said. He looks toward the teacher, but Mr. Patel had his back turned at the moment.
Kunal and Randy, the culprits, pushed him back a little, "oouh ouh calling the teacher, you are such a chicken", Kunal started
"I am not," Ansh replies starting to get annoyed
"You're a scary-cat," Randy added
"Stop it or I'll get you, good "Ansh said closing his hands in a fist
Kunal step ahead, "You don't belong here, go back to your slum"
"I won't leave, you leave, ...", Ansh shot back fiercely
"You are not from here, my papa said we don't need a poor, dirty boy like you", Randy said
"I am not a poor, dirty boy take it back", Ansh said, pushing back Randy strongly who fell on his back
"Hey, leave him alone", Kunal said pushing Ansh back again
Ansh kicks him in the leg, "You leave me alone"
Kunal yelled, "Aah, you cheat, my papa will kick you out"
"My papa, will beat your papa". Ansh replies
"What papa, you don't have a papa, you are a bas***d, my papa said so", Kunal mocks
Ansh then saw red and launched himself at Kunal, sat on him and start pounding him; Kunal raised his hand to protect himself, he may be a head taller than Ansh but at the moment Ansh was looking like the bigger boy in fury; until he felt himself raised up by his shirt.
"Ansh, what kind of behavior is that," Mr Patel shouts
"I didn't do anything; he said a bad word", Ansh answers
"That is not excuse. This is a school for well behave boys not thugs"
"Sir, he started it, he kicks Kunal because he was going to catch the ball", Randy lied
"But teacher, he's lying, he said a bad word "Ansh yells in anger, fighting to get out of the teacher hold
"Ansh! That is enough. You are punished and in detention for at least two days; and you two, go to the infirmary to get treated", Mr. Patel orders.
End Flashback
"I have detention for two days now, I can play in the game next week and have to write 100 times, I would not fight with my classmate and disturb the school again' for tomorrow"
"You know fighting is bad Ansh", Yash said
"But he said that I had no papa and that I was a bas.., bas***d. I know what that means. It means that I don't know my real papa, that he didn't want me", Ansh continued with tears in his eyes.
Yash hugs him fiercely, giving him a kiss on his forehead, he couldn't understand how someone would not want and love this adorable boy. He vowed right there to always protect him and fight anyone who dare hurt his son. Yes, Anshy was his son and he was so proud of it.
"Come with me, let me show you something," Yash said, getting up and taking Ansh in his arms after removing their gloves.
"Where are we going papa", Ansh asks always the impatient one
"You'll see, patience my boy"
They entered Yash and Aarti room and went to his desk; he sat Ansh on top and reaches for the top drawer to get a file; he opened it and show the paper to Ansh. "what do you see here?", Yash asks him.
"It has my name, papa, but why", Ansh asks with a curious look
"Well, it's a surprise for Mummy, but I need your permission before showing it to her"
"Tell me, papa", Ansh said excitingly
"I will, but first it's a secret; can you keep a secret", Yash playfully asks
"I can, I will. Now tell me", Ansh said agitated
"Ok, ok. Do you see this line, its said me, Yash Pratab Suraj Scindia requests the court to legally adopt Ansh Yash Scindia to be his chosen son forever and ever"
Ansh jump excitedly in his father's arms and said, "So you will be my real papa and no one can take me away from you"
"Exactly, so no one can take you away from me", he hugs him
"Papa, even if I am not your blood, it doesn't matter, right?", Ansh asks with a surprising maturity beyond his years. His head resting on Yash shoulder.
"Right, because in my heart, you are there forever and if someone tells you again that bad word, you won't get hurt because you know I am your papa and love you and I want you and choose you", he said.
"You are the best papa", Ansh said
"And you are the best son", Yash replied, "so no more fight in school ok champ or I will have to punish you too, ok?"
"Ok, papa, now I will only make friends, paka", Ansh agrees
"That's my boy", Yash replied
Just then, Aarti enters the room with a slight worry line on her forehead. Yash saw her and gently smile at her. Aarti tension ease, seeing both her men together and Ansh comfortably secure in the arms of the man she has come to respect and love.
"Mummy, Mummy, papa is going to adopt me, I saw the paper"
"Hey sport, it was a secret," Yash said amused
"Oups," he said, slapping his hand on his forehead, "But papa it's a surprise for mummy," he winks with that naughty smile, only he could do, to get away with trouble.
"Naughty boy, now scrams," Yash said, putting him down. Go to your room, change your clothes and start on that paper you have to write. I'll come check on it in a moment, ok."
"Ok, but don't be long, Mummy don't keep papa too long, okay", he warns her
"Me!?" Aarti said amused
"See ya", he said running out chuckling
Aarti gazes at Yash, watching him shuffle on his feet.
"Aartiji, I was going to talk to you, I just though..."
"Shuuut", Aarti said softly, she moves toward him and putt a finger on his lips to stop his explanation. "You have every right to decide what is best for your son too. You are his father", she simply said.
Yash smiles brightly at her. He remembers the last time he took a unilateral decision and wasn't planning to do it again; however, his son needed him today and he had to erase the hurt he felt today from the harsh jungle called life.
Aarti slowly takes the paper from his hand to read the content and after a moment hugs him fiercely. Yash stood frozen, this was the first time that she was deliberately touching him after the boxing roller coaster happenings. He didn't want to scare her away. He like her warm and softness. Her intoxicating perfume was teasing his nostrils. He softly inhales her hair; his senses were starting to blur. A few more seconds and she would feel his hidden need. This was a sweet retribution for the way he treated her so far. For months, he had pushed her away and now that he wanted to get closer to her, he didn't know where to start. He has hurt her a lot.
Aarti slightly move herself from Yash, look into his eyes, caress his jaw and softly kiss him, "thank you", she murmured and turn to walk out.
Yash stood there mesmerized, loss in the sensation.
The future suddenly looks brighter.
*
The following morning, 10am, Ansh' school
"Good morning, Mr. Ravir, I understand that you wanted to talk to me ", Yash said
"Mr Scindia, please come in, I was expecting Ansh mother", Mr. Ravir said back
Yash coldly stared at the Principal, "and why wouldn't I be here my; Ansh is my son too"
"Oh, I thought, ..I though you had two daughters. I mean he is your stepson, from your second marriage, I ..", Mr Ravir was jabbering
"Mr. Ravir, I suggests that we come to the reason of this meeting"
Mr. Ravir awkwardly rearranged his collar; he knew the Scindia reputation in town and having seen a few Punar Vivah, he seldom sees husband taking interest in a stepson; and he was giving the wrong impression by his imprudent remark. "Mr. Scindia, Ansh was in a fight and our policy is to give a warning to the parent for the first offense. This kind of behavior is not acceptable in our school; already the boy's parents that Ansh has assaulted are requesting proper retribution",
"Mr. Ravir are you aware that those boys call my son a bas***d", Yash asks
"Mr. Scindia, we don't teach our student bad words or bad manner. This is an upstanding school"
"Mr. Ravir, I am well aware of the school reputation having, contributing to its fund, not to mention that my brothers and I have studied here. However, I don't remember being treated unfairly, maybe because my son was a transfer from Pittal Elementary school?", Yash scolds
"Mr. Scindia, how dare, you? "The Principal indignantly said, "we don't discriminate here, everyone is treated the same", he continues offended
"I dare because I am looking after my son well being. Ansh came home shaken by the insults and that is unacceptable to me. Have you investigated the incident? Did you interrogate the boys involved?" Yash doubts
"There was no need, beside they needed to be sent to the nurse for treatment. I have it under written statement by their sport teacher that Ansh was beating up one of the boys and Mr. Patel had to restrained him. That was enough, I trust my teacher to be fair and truthful", Mr Ravir said on the defensive mode.
"I don't condone fighting and Ansh knows it, but if he is called such a disturbing bad word, I and my family have to question the education given here. Ansh may be eager, excited or mischievous little boy, but he is not a liar, if anything he is brutally honest." Yash said matter of factly.
"Mr. Scindia I assure you that Ansh is not treated differently; I believe in giving the best education and chance to anyone. I am a fair man. But I will investigate the incident and I promise you if the boys lied, they will receive the proper punishment too". Mr. Ravir concedes.
"And I can respect anyone who is willing to reconsider and correct an injustice. I thank you for reexamining the incident. Ansh will fulfill is punishment as expected; I don't have a problem with that; children need to learn that actions have consequences", Yash said.
"I am glad that we came to an understanding and I realize that the changes of school may have destabilized Ansh; I mean a new school, rules and teacher may be disconcerting, so I will consider the detention and paper enough punishment for Ansh this time".
"Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to make sure all parties are equally treated. Goodbye Mr Ravir", Yash said, shaking the director hand.
"Have a good day Mr. Scindia." Mr. Ravir said
Yash steps in the corridor and start to walk back to his car; he was now reassured that Ansh will be fine. They were all adjusting to the new family dynamic and it was bound to get, at time bumpy but he realized a while ago that he needed to fully commit to it, not just for the kids, and the first step was the legal adoption. Mr. Ravir initial reaction just reinforced his beliefs, a Punar Vivah was not an easy standing in their society and children were usually the first to get hurt; he didn't want Ansh to question his place in the family; ever. The boys deserve to grow up in a secure environment. Suddenly he heard the Ansh voice calling him.
"Papa, papa," Ansh called running toward Yash
He whirls around, "Ansh? why aren't you in class", Yash asks
"It's break time papa, "Ansh said, looking at him like duh
"Oh, right, I didn't notice", Yash replies
"Did you come to pick me? Its early na"
"No, I was meeting Mr. Ravir, the Principal"
"So I am not punished anymore", Ansh asks hopeful
"Ansh, I told you that you shouldn't fight; so you have to do your punishment, It's the rules"
Ansh shoulder dropped, "ok, papa; I will"
"That's my boy" Yash said hugging him, "Now I have to go and you have class to attend
"Ok, but come first, meet my friend Arjun, please"
"Ok, show me", Yash agrees
Ansh turns and run towards a boy standing near a stone wall, grab his hand and drag him back to Yash, "Papa, this is Arjun, my friend, he is very nice; he was sitting alone, so I asks why, but he didn't say and I share my lunch with him and now we are friend".
Yash crouches down, he could see that the boy was slightly apprehensive, for the clothes on his back, he may have been shunned by other boys, "hello Arjun, nice to meet you, I am Yash Scindia, Ansh papa", Yash said raising his hand to him.
Arjun in a small, shy voice, "Hello Mr. Scindia", giving his hand back
"So do you want to be friend with Ansh", Yash asks playfully
"He is nice", Arjun simply answers back
"I agree Arjun, but if he tires you with his non stop chatter, come to me", Yash said winking
Arjun laugh, he liked Ansh Papa
"Hey, papa, I don't talk a lot. You can go now, we are going to play", Ansh cut in
Yash put on a sad face, "It seems I am no longer needed"
"Oh, silly papa, shoo, bye", Ansh said then run back away, grabbing Arjun who had no choice but to follow, not without gesturing goodbye with his free hand.
Yash look at them go and though, yes, my boy will be alright now", with a huge smile.
The End
