Emraan was somewhat of a trailblazer in Bollywood. When people shied away from sensuality, he embraced it. He built a brand out of sensuality, bold scenes and a whole lot of lip locking. He did it with some amount of finesse. He made kissing mainstream and acceptable.

I think kissing was something Emraan did to brand himself. He was not a number one actor. He did not have a massive fan following. He did not get that many movies outside the Bhatt clan. It made sense for him and it worked.

I do not understand why Ranveer is trying to outdo Emraan. Ranveer has a massive fan following. He has made films with large production houses and is popular. He already has a brand and does not need to reinvent himself.

This whole Befikre brouhaha is making Ranveer seem more like an attention wh**e each day. Rather than build on his credibility he is proving me right that he is just a desperado who needs everyone's eyes on him to be seen.
