Uff! So the much awaited moment is over. Suman-Adi wedding is cancelled. Thank goodness!
I like the episode. I am not disappointed but I didn't love it as much as I thought I would.😕 Probably because my expectations were too high or because seeing Suman being assaulted was not entertaining. I was heartbroken on her behalf.💔
I can't believe Aditya dared to harass Sumo like that? Did he really expect to get away with it when there is a wedding mob right outside the door? Seriously!🤢 He became that obsessed. I think he just wanted to punish Suman...to hell with the consequences.😡
Poor Sumo! I feel so sad for her. Seeing her in such a situation makes me very angry. Imagine if Aditya had succeeded in marrying her. He would have made her life a living hell.
The fight sequence was okay. TBH, I loved the OLVs more. 😔I did love the ShraMan hug scene though, short as it was. Let's rewind to the moment Shravan breaks the door open and finds Suman struggling beneath creepy Aditya. We could see Suman's relief when she locks eyes with Shravan's. She runs to Shravan in a heartbeat.❤️ She hugs him tightly relieved that he showed up. And, did you guys notice the sarcastic smile that Adi cracks when Suman hugs Shravan. OMG, Adi did not even seem disgusted with what he (Adi) had tried to do to Sumo.🤢
Then comes the moment Shravan loses his cool and slaps Adi.👏 The relatives try to hold him back, but Shravan shrugs everyone off, even Ramnath and proceeds to beat the living lights out of Aditya. The only thing he kept repeating was : "Tune Sumo ko chooa kaise?...Main tujhe nahin choodunga" 😡No one could stop him. I think he would have successfully killed Aditya, if Nanu hadn't yelled.
After the fiasco, Nirmala is digusted. She couldn't believe that her son could do such a deed. I felt sorry for her. I loved how tightly she slapped Aditya. Before that, she asks him whether it is true that he tried to assault Suman. Can you believe Aditya tried to justify his actions by placing the blame on Shravan?🤢 Like seriously! No matter how much he was instigated, at the end of the day Adi was the one committed physical assault. There is no justifying that. Hence, Nirmala slapped him before he could finish his "excuse".👏
I really felt sorry for Nirmala in the episode. She is my least favourite character but it was sad seeing her so ashamed of her parvarish. Well, one thing I commend about Ramnath was he didn't use this opportunity to insult or badmouth Nirmala. No matter how evil he is, he was sensitive enough to keep his mouth shut, seeing as how broken Nanu was about the incident.
I didn't like Kamini Chachi at all tonight. I am happy her wish was fulfilled and the wedding was called off. But, it was at Suman's expense and I can't rejoice about that. I can't believe she was laughing and smiling. But she did tell something true: Shravan hitting Aditya so hard did show how affected he was. He saw red when Adi was hurting Suman. This is testimony to his lingering love for Suman. No denying that.
Speaking of characters I didn't like tonight. Maami! What the heck is wrong with her? 😡Yes, she is angry that Adi misbehaved with Suman. But, I hated the fact that she blamed Suman's fate for Adi's misbehaviour. What?🤢 "Suman ki toh kismat hi kharab hai...aur shayad hamari bhi"🤢 Shravan looked at Maami with anger. I am glad Shravan took offense at that statement. I mean how selfish can that woman be, at a time like this?
I hate to say that. Shravan was right that day when he cruelly told Suman that her family wants to get rid of her. Maami was not that worried about Suman. In fact, I felt she was most upset about the fact that Suman's wedding didn't happen and now she will have to postpone her trip to America.😕
Back at TK, Shravan is thinking about the very recent past and is horrified that Nanu had to apologize for Aditya's misbehaviour and Aditya forcing himself on Sumo. I know somewhere in his heart, Shravan feels very guilty.
Upset Sumo won't eat and Shravan won't eat either. Worried Sumo takes the food to Shravan. He is worried about the incident, not that he would admit it. When Suman thanks him he couldn't bear it.
Sumo: Hamara rishta khatam hone ke baad bhi tumne meri madad ki. Tumhare ehsaan pata nahi kaise chukaaungi
Shravan looks very guilty at this and stops her. I was expecting him to tell her what he had said to Aditya the night before. But he didn't. I really wish, he had. Then, there would have been no room for further MU.😭
Regretful Shravan harshly stops her from saying thanks to him, citing that he was helping Nanu not Sumo. If it had been any other girl also, he would have done the same.🤢 I don't think so, but whatever. Sure he would have helped her, but he wouldn't have been so mad that he was ready to commit Adi's murder.
Shravan get up to leave. He starts to walk away. But, I felt as if he didn't want to leave. I loved it when he turned back to face her once again, only to say: "Apna khayal rakhna"
Oh, I so wish Shravan had told Suman about his rendezvous with Aditya the night before and the stupid words he said to Adi.
Precap was interesting. On one hand, Shravan tells Ramnath that he still hates Suman🤢 (Liar, liar; pants on fire). On the other hand, Sumo touches the tulips that Shravan ordered for her and tells herself that she won't believe that Shravan would have acted so madly for any other girl; in other words, that he has no feelings for her and she is just any girl. But I wonder how she will respond when she finds out how Shravan unintentionally defamed their friendship.
All in all, I liked the episode. I am happy that Sumo-Adi wedding fiasco is over. Not happy that Shravan didn't tell her about the other night and there is still scope for MUs.😭
