My analysis on Shivaay and Anika (ShivIka)

First of all the strong, no nonsense Shivaay Singh Oberoi is just an image that he has created, so that people won't even try to get to know the real Shivaay. I mean, who wants to get close, to a stuborn, arrogant person. In reality Shivaay is quite vulnerable, especially when it comes to his beloved brothers. Within the past few episodes we have been seeing a different side of the Shivaay Singh Oberoi we know. When Anika was unconscious he looked scared and worried- emotions which we have never really seen on his face. Personally I felt that he has experienced something in life like this before. Perhaps it is why he doesn't trust poor people, without proper family lineage. In addition usually Shivaay is a calm composed person; however as soon as something is related to his family or someone who he calls family😉 he really loses it. Displaying all sort of emotions: anger, pain and worry. Furthermore Shivaay never relies or depends on anyone, making it hard for him to trust people. This also may be the reason, why he is scared of falling in love. Moreover in Nakuul's AT we were discussing how Shivaay is the weakest of the brothers but also the strongest. Like any ordinary person, he to has many weaknesses; however he has to be strong for his brothers and show them. He is the weakest because secretly his heart to yearns for someone, who can share his pain. That's where Anika comes in😉

Anika is a fiery spirited girl, who doesn't take anyone's nonsense, a bit like Shivaay. For the world she is a bold, brave girl, who doesn't care about the troubles in life; whilst in reality she does care and has a weak side. Just like Shivaay Anika never shows her weaknesses, especially for her little brother Sahil. Who worships and loves Anika the most. When people point fingers at her she does get hurt, but doesn't want the world to pity her. The most painful thing for Anika is when people remind her that she is an orphan. That nobody loves her. That's why she is so connected to Sahil- the only family she has. Anika doesn't have much experience of the feeling called love; therefore it may take her a while to understand Shivaay's feelings for her. Though she will always understand her feelings for him. Anika also wants someone who understands her, feelings and Shivaay is the only one.

Overall ShivIka are two individuals, who are looking for love, even if they don't admit it. Despite all their differences they are made for each other because of their similarities. As a matter of fact their differences will complete each other. They truly are a deep and beautiful couple.
