Can we deny that men the top most species and women are second to them... No, right

But why they are first and we are not ...

1. They chose to hunt - made them physically fit, alert, good in navigation, making strategies and they learnt to work in group, taking orders from leader, reconciles with buddies after a spat and rough play. As they were imitating voices of animals they become good in imitating others voices.

2. We chose to stay at cave - made us loner, developed multitasking skills as we have to raise babies, cook and look after other small works etc. (Made us fairer sex as well - less uv) . We were raising babies so we become apt in sensing emotion and developed six senses.

3. Men wanted their gene to spread so they were polygamist and guarded their women so they were jealous and still that characteristic is evident in their behavior. T

4. Women had one arsenal - child and they make sure by producing children that man remains part of group.

Centuries passed _ we evolved ...

Men are still topmost species because they never given heed to their facial or body hair, boasted their infidelity as a prize and they were comrades ... standing for their own... their buddies. They were clear about their sexualities and never ashamed off it.

Women too evolved... become more powerful and started doing all the work. Suddenly we are everywhere, independent women who can leave behind baby to go for work and sometime choose not to reproduce as well. We have our girlfriends to look after us...

Now it was difficult for men to handle such women ... but they still got one secret weapon which still make us venerable as that is point out on character ... to accuse us of infidelity ... Directly or indirectly ...

They are still physically stronger than us ... manhandling - not good

Sharavan saying Suman ji kisi ke sath nahi jati the usko kaise taiyar kia - You have to prove your morality to get love - again stereotyping ( who is a good girl - one who never go out with boys)

* I am not sure but I heard middle class somewhere - so when Sharavn was folloeing chachi's demand he was also carrying the same belief of middle class, status and all ... abhi tak women raga tha but how she will mingle with bade ghar ke log ... Q

But nevertheless, I am happy to part of group of women who are aware of their personalities, can analyze, take sides, vocal , great buddies, vocal about their sexual fantasies, can keep secretes and great buds. Love you girls ... muah

Keep leaving fears behind for our daughters, granddaughters and greatgreatgranddaughters...😊

In context to yesterday's episode _

Why we get affected by if someone says that she had a physical relation in past ... Or a boyfriend, husband judge our character by our verginity ... Before they stop asking us the these questions, we should break free our minds and convince our selves that no we are not guilty. We feel guilty of being women ... All the time.

We have covered a long distance ... Our great grand mothers fought for our rights to vote, to play in olampics, to work, to work in army , wearing what ever we want to wear. This is old rule of war that target the soft point of opponent ... So if you have to make someone angry abusive and taunt their woman folks ... If you want to belittle a women just point finger ... What is modesty ... It's state of mind nothing else .

Men, why they rule because they know exsectly where to hit us and unfortunately few women among us also do the same. A man will never say to another that you are characterless... Because it won't hurt him .

What if we become like them ... When someone point us about our past, present relations, sexual preference we deal it as a natural thing... Don't you think we will be more strong. We are no where less than them in any thing ...

In yesterday's episode ... Suman has every right to ask Sharavn why he lied about them ... Has every right to be angry with him ... But no one else including her family has right to judge her .

SEE NO ONE IS EVEN BOTHERED ABOUT SHARAVAN 's IMAGE ... THAT HE HAD PHYSICAL RELATIONS... ITS ONLY SUMANS REPUTION's WE ARE WORRIED ABOUT ... THIS NEEDS TO BE CHANGE...

I'm totally against your phrase that "Men are the topmost species"...
Erick S. Gray said that "

"Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby.. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her. So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit!"

I'm not a feminist as in I'm a stern supporter of humanism... there're certain things that each gender specialises in but that doesn't place them superior over the other.

I'm a proud girl and we're in the time-span when girls are surpassing the boundaries which were created around them.

Amulya... I am not feminist ... and i am not saying we are any less ... but they have achieved more than us and enjoy greater freedom and have more choices than us. So when i am saying they are topmost species its means the choice they have ... and we dont have because we are not free.
I love that we groom ourselves, i love the soft nature, kidness, multitasking abilities, strong will. I also equally believe they complete us as we complete them and we are not at war ... its about knowing our capabilities and leaving behind fears ... fear of ridicule, fear of rejections ...

Not once i said we are less than them in mental capabilities ... we are great behaviorists, can sense emotions which they cant decipher ... many more things. But we crave for approvals... they also look for approval but mostly from men ... there buddies.

I know without our sacrifice nothing can be build but we have to leave fears behind... and not as a woman ... as a human... that's the point.

And i am proud gill... loved your piece.

A Fantastic post...šŸ‘šŸ‘ I have enjoyed reading your fun posts...today I applaud your piece for its perfect soul.
Hats off!!

U have said rather lucidly what I wished to say and have said in response to some posts...

Another thing...I am feminist and a proud one at that...Let women never be fooled into believing it is a bad word. Feminism is another word for gender equality. If anyone tells us otherwise, its time to correct them. I also know sadly TV soapdom is not a place to seek examples of feminism or gender equality yet when the issue and response are muffled like in yesterday's case...I do feel one must speak out...not to others but to ourselves so that we understand what is essentially wrong in how we approach matters relating to our ilk...the female gender.

I remember a few episodes ago there was a scene where Shravan called a woman to his room and a lot of people called it a "seeti" moment...I said it was a low moment for me...I wrote then that

"btw...on a separate note on the sensibilities front,.I have never understood a man having contempt for women for casual alliances when they are also seeking the same...so Shravan shouting "Get out" was not a "seeti" moment for me...goose and gander...and all that!!"

My question then was why did we as viewers, female viewers at that, consider it a seeti moment? It is because essentially somewhere we attach the concept of so called morality to female behaviour? I wrote then that the CVs have no idea what they have touched upon becos Shravan is certainly now not a character that will be awakened by Sumo's love...that day he had become a person who needed a shrink, first and foremost.

anyways, coming to yesterday,I wrote in response to a post...

Another thing...one is this assumption that talk like this compromises a woman's character. The way all of us are reacting means we consider our "modesty" outraged by such talk. We have let ourselves believe there is a different set of code for man and women. However, that means we still see these issues from society's age-old mores We should stop viewing a woman's character from the prism of a man's world. A world, where there is shame for a woman for some conduct and no shame for a man's similar conduct...MY question is why? Imagine this conversation in a gender sensitised world where there are no qualms about this aspect. A man never feels guilty if his experiences are talked about. Imagine the opposite, women getting together and discussing their past relationships with men...would it affect the men in any way...so big deal!! why should it affect women in any way...If men can't learn how to react to such matters...let them go back and learn how to react to such issues...or better still let them be bred well!!.Having said this...it's terribly important that they don't make this about any loss of Sumo's self-respect becos that is not the issue. the Issue is of a man molesting a girl. Period. It does not matter what brought that on. As I see it nothing can bring this on except a man's warped sense of his self-identity.

Imagine a scenario...where Adi molests Sumo and then he is say kicked out...let me here play the devil's advocate (no I don't mean Adi's advocate šŸ˜†!!)

what is Shravan supposed to feel? Remorse that he spoke in that fashion to Adi that got him in that state? or Relief that Sumo is out of harm's way? or A bit of anger that Sumo let herself be subjected to all this? (by this I don't mean molestation...but the agony of being involved with a man she did not clearly love) For me its is relief and anger but not remorse...Think about this deeply...the remorse can only be for his misogyny that perhaps equates his thinking to men like Adi..at some level, which think that there is a benchmark for upright female behaviour but none for men. Which is why I maintain as women we need to examine our positions at every step so that we are not falling for the positions of misogyny ourselves even as we talk of our self-respect.

My view is that CVs have not completely thought thru when they decided to turn Shravan into a misogynist. Its a tuf role to give your male protagonist. I am not sure how well they will handle this issue from here on.
