There was a strange feeling in her heart. As if something ominous was about to happen...
Her heart felt heavy. This was unrelated to the sadness she had been feeling , over the past few days. She needed someone near her...someone who could drive away her fears...Shravan...
Maasi had come in to enquire about her. She had tried to share it with her. But she tried to cheer her up and she realised she really needed Shravan now. Shravan..Where was he? She needed him around her right now. But he had gone home. And she didn't want to disturb him anymore...she was on her own from now on.
Maasi got her some water...In the process she noted her photo with Shravan had fallen down. She replaced it quickly...Thankfully nothing had broken...
Maasi left... A chilling wind blew through her home...raising the curtains harsh enough to topple down yet another precious memory...It was her picture with nanu that had tumbled down...down on the ground...She bent down to pick it up...She was still pretty shaken up...It felt like she was going through some dark hour.
Days later...
He shuddered to think of that night...It had been the darkest hour for him...When the realisation of what he had done had first dawned on him. How carelessly he had dragged her into a brawl a night before...and with what rights? He closed his eyes and rested his head on his hands...and wished for the umpteenth time he had not done it. It had been an issue between him and his hated half brother...why did he ever involve her...And the consequences of his indiscretion...she had had to pay for it...His darkest hour...When he failed her...
PS: The episode left me with a gloomy feeling...there was this fear of some grave danger looming over Suman, the way they had written this...and this goes beyond the wedding being called off..
The photo frames falling down one after the other, definitely seemed symbolic. Her photo with Shravan had been facing the other side...He has done something behind her back...The relationship seemed to have survived, perhaps because she was still blinded to what he had done. But when Nanu's frame fell...That seemed symbolic of Suman falling in Nanu's eyes...Or it could very simply be Nanu getting affected...
For me, the implications of Shravan's actions have killed the joy of the marriage breaking...He was supposed to protect her honour..Here he had gone about destroying it! And he was drinking to his happiness!!! Poor Shravan...
And this could really start a chain reaction..For if Nirmala is mocked at as a mother, Aditya could return for his revenge..and he could insult Suman...esp when he believes Shravan...I hope they don't make Adithya this grey...
Poor Sumo! For no fault of hers...we could justify anyone for the sake of justifying...But what she has lost today..Who would be able to restore it! 😒
