Ok, now am intrigued. I have no clue about the original myth, can you please share any link or anything at all?I didn't like the Shivaay trailer as much, there was way too much action for my liking, but you mentioned supernatural elements. Where? Which part?

There was a lot of analogies in the trailer if you look for it actually. But I don't know if they can actually follow through. The mountain is the background of the story and Ajay is the mountaineer who inhabits it and seems to have a complex relationship to it, a direct metaphor for Kailash and Shiva. Another interesting thing was them floating over and around the mountain as if living on it. The first shot of him lying on the snow with a weed pipe/glass pipe in his hand, another direct metaphor for Lord Shiva and his chillum. There are also plenty of other small details like him going on a murdering rampage (a Tandava metaphor) when his daughter is kidnapped. I believe they have swapped the Shiva-Parvati analogy here with a parent-child one because it's more relatable. This felt like an origin myth with a urban twist and I wish someone would actually take it up and execute it well.
