Who do y'all reckon would be suitable actors/actresses for the characters?

For Darcy I thought Fawad Khan or Arjun Rampal.

And going off on their chemistry from Khoobsurat, maybe Sonam could be Lizzie opposite Fawad? I dunno, Elizabeth's a hard one for me to think of 😆

Also I thought Sidharth Malhotra could play Charles Bingley.

What do you guys think? Feel free to give opinions on actors for other characters too like Mr and Mrs. Bennet, Wickham, Lydia and Mary and Jane, Georgiana, Colonel Fitz., Lady Catherine, Charlotte, Collins, Mr and Mrs Gardiner etc. 😆

P.S. While I liked Bride and Prejudice (automatic love for any P&P adaptation), I don't really count that as a bollywood adaptation. 😆

Darcy is certainly Fawad. ZGH was sorta a version of P&P in a way. Lizzie is probably Deepika with her fire and ice chemistry with her co-actors. Bingley could be Sid M and Jane could be Shraddha. Lydia would be Sonam and Alia could be Georgiana. Lady Catherine would be Ratna Pathak Shah.

Whaaat it was? I haven't watched ZGH yet but I'll definitely check it out now! :)

You've got great taste haha, all those actors/actresses seem like they could do well in the respective roles. I'll have to disagree on Deepika though. Even though I'm her fan, her dictation sometimes off most of the times to me and it's jarring. But hey, to each their own.

Now that you've mentioned it YES! Anushaka's great at fiesty roles and Lizzie was definitely a fiesty character. Plus I think Fawad and Anushka would have great chemistry!

Am sorry..There is noone who can pull off Darcy..He is one of those characters who lives best in your imagination..Its impossible for me to picture anyone pulling him off to perfection..You'd still think the version in the book is better..Collin Firth came close and he is a damn good actor yet i was convinced the version in the book is better 😆

Darcy fawad,lizzie anushka.sid bingley katrina jane as they were a beautiful looking couple and jane is older than lizzie.lydia kitty Alia and Shraddha .Mary can be Sonam,she looks good in glasses. wickham Aditya roy kapoor.Mr and mrs bennet Rajat kapoor and kiran kher

Oh you must check out ZGH. Thats one show I can recommend to anyone without hesitation. Someone said Katrina as Jane and she is a great choice instead of Shraddha. Lizzie another choice could be Anushka.

I honestly can't imagine anyone doing or being Mr.Darcy.

The one in the book and in my head is almost impossible to epitomize.

Nah don't be sorry he's my favorite male literary character of all time. In saying that I'm desperate to watch a bollywood adaptation :( Haha but I know what you mean!

Ah the Colin version yes 😳 But I'm prob in the minority because my favorite version was the 1980 TV mini-series.
