I think today this side of Nirmala was shown as a part of a bigger game plan by the CV's... You guyz might have an opinion that she's bad as a mother after today's episode... but I would say that she isn't that bad a mother, her doubt was just for a moment but she corrected herself that her Shravan can never be that way... At that particular moment she might be wrong in doubting but yes she can as she wasn't around Shravan for the last ten years where there's a scope that he might change for the better or bad... her motherlt protective instincts for Adi made her think that way and she can also doubt Adi if Shravan seems to be in distress in the future... CV's are so confusing, is that scene necessary today?? Where're they gonna play with it??

Majority being girls here, I would like to ask how do you think a mother should actually be?? My answer is, I hate the idea of defining a mother... each mom who would give birth to her child can love in her own way... someone's love might seem lesser than someone else but its her own way of loving her child... I sternly believe no mom can ever wrong her child willingly as a child to a mom is just like another organ essential to live but is just disconnected from her body... and still connected soul-wise.

I can never even dislike Nirmala as a child actually reflects his mom and here Shravan is the reflection of his mom... she's the person who made him to be such a good person.. I'm really excited to watch them bonding once again... I so wish she's back in MM to claim her rights when she left empty handed back then and this time she has to priorly claim her son... he isn't a child anymore who would be disturbed by court cases but instead I feel that he would be glad to realise that finally his mom wants him.

We put mothers on a pedestal. But end of the day they are humans too and are prone to mistakes and selfishness.
To fail is not a sin. But to realize what has gone wrong and correcting it makes all the difference.

Lets wait for Nimmy's character to unfold.

My thoughts exactly! There are any number of women who manipulate their kids, those that are jealous of the attention the husband maybe giving the kids etc. It also works for fathers BTW. It about the personality and not about whether a person is a parent or not!
He was a grown boy when she left, so custody should not even come into the picture. Could she not have kept in touch with him, she was in touch with the tiwaris, she could have found a way to get in touch if she chose to,... She is stubborn and in a way Ramanth is right even though he is to blame for fer stubbornness. These are all characters - Suman, Nirmala, Ramnath and Aditya - who will cut of their nose to spite their face!
Mamaji, Preethi, Kamini, Vandyare all selfish people. Shravan, Maamji and Lalaji have no backbone. Of all these Shravan is the most needy, so he is willing to put up with Suman's abuse for the attention. they must bring a shrink into the serial ... :-)

I think after Aditya's negative side comes out, she will abandon him and try to mend her relation with Shravan. Hope it happens that way.

No, she shouldn't abandon him rather try to mend his ways... if she would do the same to Adi which she did to Shravan ten years back there's no way out for her character's redemption

Due to Shravan's absence Nirmala transferred all her motherly instincts and affection to Aditya. That much is easy to fathom. The reason behind her not contacting him for over 10 years is flimsy and full of holes. The character as such is so far only a cardboard cut out and one of the more under-developed ones in the show. Maybe it is so for a reason and her story will unfold in due time but chances are that they will skim over the whole issue, brush it all under the rug and toss us a few Shraman eyelocks to keep us from questioning the logic.
The basic premise of the story is about ego vs self-respect and if they intend to stick to it, they will show self-respect win over ego. To do that they will weave it in a way to show Nirmala in some strange white light.
The cvs seem to have taken a saying from the Bible too literally (Exodus 20:5) Poor Shravan is paying for the sins of his father.

I saw in some spoiler video, that Aditya will be handed over to police, post the molesting incident. However, if even after so many years of her upbringing, he turned out to be such a jerk, I don't think furthur advises or emotional support is gonna bring any changes in Aditya. I think he will turn out into a full on negative character.
