Interesting! How actors return for popularity / pay cheque!

I just realised that only Smriti Irani & Kamalika Guha (Gayatri) are the original cast members from the Season 1 of Kyunki Saas Bhi kabhi Bahu thi rest all the actors had already quit the show and have now returned only to gaun popularity again or to make money in their not so growing career.

Kiran, Hemant, Shobha and even Mihir (Amar) had already quit the S1. Ketki Dave (Daksha) now went missing. Karan & Nandini are just there for minor scenes. The new kids are anyways unnecessary addition. So basically this new season has managed to get back only 2 characters in true sense.

They are making good money and the channel is happy with the ratings.

Amar left at Kyunki peak.

They all came back because of Ekta and the hype for the show.

i think hemat, kiran and shoba were there for long time unlike actor playing mihir

the serial went on for 8 years

even real tulsi left and another lady had come later as tulsi

they were all young in 20s

so we cannot expect them to play parents to 25 years old at the age of 25 can we

so if they quit its ok in 2004 etc to play younger roles in other serials

problem is ITV brands ppl by role they play

so if a 25 year old plays a 55 year old mom dad to a 25 year old in future they would get only such roles

look at karan viran hiten - did he get a main lead after playing karan virani NOOO

he got to play manav when he was already father to almost adult kids

and ronit roy is another ex after rishabh bajaj character he mostly played a aged man of 45 plus always

he never got role of a male lea whose 25 yyears old afterwards

that is fear all actors have

now atleast this hemant, kiran, karan virani are playing actual age of 55 plus or 40 plus

but imagine them playing 5o plus year olds at young age of 25 or 30

its brands you as a character actor and no one will want to agian see you as 25 year old male lead again

look at rakhi one day she as playing heroine to amitabh bahchan than she accepted amitabh mom character next year and all heroine roles dried up at young of 30 she was playing mom to those who were hero to her previous years

so all heroines try to not play mom role at 30 or even 40 years plus and not take mothers role nowadays like deepika, katrina, karrena etc they learnt from past heroines faults
