Dhinchank shared an upcoming track today where after Dev and Sona's engagement Dev plans a dinner date for Ritwik and Sona...

Excellent track. It shows how Dev is spiraling out of control.

But two things that Dev still needs to learn.

1. How to make up his mind. You decided to choose your mother and left Sonakshi. Now if you truly want to arrange a dinner date for your ex, stay out of the restaurant. Let them figure out who arranged it for them. And better yet, DO NOT ARRANGE DINNER DATE FOR YOUR EX. You left her, now either let her be or have the guts to stand in front of your mother and tell the truth for a change.

2. His biggest mistake to treat Sonakshi as a mindless doll. This is the mistake he keeps repeating over and over again. First time was when he broke up a relationship they were both in without asking her and second in this clip when he asked "permission" to dance with Sonakshi from Ritwik. I loved loved loved Ritwik's answer. The person you need to ask, is the person herself. Sonakshi is not Ritwik's property just because they got engaged any more than she is Dev's just because she loves him. She still has a brain, a personality and a will to take her own decisions.

Until Dev learns these two points, there is no point Sona and him getting back together because Sona will never be happy getting her own self trampled or even settle for an unequal relationship.

And please please please CVs, do not turn Ritwik into a villain like all daily soaps to show Dev as better bet. Let for a change Sona decide between a perfect man on paper and the perfect man for her regardless of imperfections.

And don't let Ishwari give in until Dev grows a spine and stands up for his love. True love is no less precious than family. Let him work this time to win Sona and both family over and be a man in front of his mother.

Don't make the choices so obvious and easy. This script has meat, we don't want same old, same old repeat track (*cough*Shravan-Aditya--Suman, Sagar-Palash-Ganga*cough*)...

I so so much liked your post.

Yes Dev needs to grow a spine and talk to Ishwari about his love for Sonakshi and how he cannot stay without her. All this stalking, interfering etc. right now is making him look cheap.

While I don't want Hrithik to become a villain, something tells me all is not right with this guy either. He is being shown too broad-minded, too goody goody which is definitely not possible.

Yeah. It seems CVs can't show a flawed hero against a perfect second lead. There's a perfect example that if you show a perfect second lead, it works. Take for example Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Aman is perfect on paper for Anjali - good looking, gets along great with her family, attentive, charming and loves her a lot.

But Rahul, the single father, who has truck load of baggage and issues is her love.

So Aman let's her go yet maintained his dignity and theirs and Rahul gathers up his courage to fight for her love. That's what I want to see in the show.

Dev will continue to trouble the weak. He knows Sona loves him enough to not complain to the police. He knows she is having great difficulty in forgetting him. he knows she is vulnerable now.. And hence he creates troubles for her. Though not with an intention to create trouble, but he very well knows where he can get away with after being a jerk...

Ma will feel bad if i forget'paanv choona' one day, but Sona- let me just vent out on her.

Exactly. He apologized to his mom because he forgot to touch her feet (Good Lord!!! Talk about pretentious. Can't be honest with mom, but touch her feet everyday). Did he apologize to Sona for not respecting her choice and for stalking her when she obviously does not want him too?

Bang On post!! Agree to all your points.

Dev needs to show his commanding power not to Sona, Ishwari or RItwik but to his own conscience.. U just highlighted all the points I was thinking after watching the segments though I wanted to to reserve my opinion till the original episode airs😳

In my opinion him growing a spine and to leave her alone is the need of the hour for otherwise he sure needs to get locked up for this behavior this is in no way palatable...not sure where they are taking this?
