Agreed agreed agreed !! Annika went too far and the precap wasn't even funny it was plain annoying !!!! Also keeping this gender thing aside when annika knows that someone like shivaay is really uptight and would not appreciate this joke she should've kept her stupid mouth shut!!

I will join you all too, had it been only staying quite it was still acceptable, but OmRu were actually supporting Anika in mocking Shivaaye, I really hated that scene

I couldn't have agreed more with this post. It is bang on! I completely agree that in Indian shows the when the guy is embarassed, it's supposed to be funny. Going of on a slightly different tangent . I feel that its really unfortunate that a woman's honor, is valued in terms of her clothes and who she is with, and a man's in terms of his profession. We are unfortunately forced to think in that way and often ignore the other aspects. All this is pretty regressive.

Although, definetly not on the same level, Shivaay misbehaving with Anika (all the manhandling), Anika making fun of Shivaay and Saumya messing with Rudy's pic to embarrass him are all not something that I agree with or appreciate.

I don't personally hate any character or actor for that matter, and I think IB is doing a decent job, compared to a lot of other shows but it can still improve on a lot of acspects.

I thought the other thing which was kind of hypocritical (again nothing against the actor), is Ishaana trying to trap a guy to save her family from some debt. Although I appreciate that they have attempted a grey character for a female lead, if it was a guy trying to make a girl fall in love for her money, the guy would be considered as disgusting and spineless, because he can't make money in an honest way.

The worst part is if you give your opinion, and point out what you feel, there is chance that people will get upset or worse, the excuse is that it's just a tv show. So It's not a big deal! Okay enough of my ranting!

Agree with everything in this post. I'm still mad about the photo morphing. It was such mean and childish thing to do.

His anger was justified and it makes it worse since he was being civil to her earlier. However, I don't think Anika is a bad person, but she should have known when to stop. It's not like their friends where she can joke around with him. She knows he doesn't like her.

For someone trying to start afresh and doesn't want to fight anymore why would she embarrass him in front of his family like that? More inconsistencies in the writing 😆

I hope she apologizes, but it probably will be ignored like the photo morphing incident.

It was plainly insensitive on Anika's part... Shivay's anger was justified... She should say sorry for her behavior ... there are certain things we do not expect from characters like Anika or OM or not even Shivay or any other lead for that matter...

I was thinking ...He dropped Anika home which was considerably far.. Gave her a helping hand... Sat on the chair which had glue .. Messed up with his pants.. changed to the clothes which for him is bit uncomfortable...

And Anika after sometime came back 😆 How did she return home when it was auto rikshaw strike on that day... Saara use ghar chodna waapas aana sab mitti mei mil gaya and she came back... 🤪 On top of that embaressed him in front of the whole family... Anika ke pair mei toh chot bhi lagi thi na... She was not able to walk...😕 Better it wud have been had she stayed back as it was suggested by daadi since Sahil was not at home... 😕

So many bloopers in a single episode just to show Shivay getting bullied... Better it would have been had they shown her hide the matter and some intense emotional scene between the two...

there should be a point after which things should not be stretched else a person loses the connection he/she feels with the fictional character.. 🥱

Since real world every thing is opposite
At least in reel world Gul is trying compensate
Don't you guys read enough news ?
So what it is just a serial
Nothing is there to be so sentimental
Instead we must feel bad for thousands of girl children being sexually exploited
Thousands being sold at human trafficking
In a country females are perished even inside the most protected place called " mother's womb"
I think Gul is trying to compensate ...

One thing I agree "Anika" talks too much rubbish at time , but I like the character she is loud but not a cheat ... She has no inerested in Any on's wealth

All the lead female characters are brash, loud and often insensitive.
Would it have been too much to ask for, if we could have seen a variety of different personalities?

You can tolerate one, but it is difficult to bear with three of a kind.

As much as I like all three female leads individually, I would have hoped that one is mature, intelligent and sensible.

Annika needs to filter her poor sense of humour.
Ishaana needs to control her compulsive lying.
Saumya needs to develop a personality.

CVs please take a hint.

Agree..

But then to create a story that can connect to people is where the real talent lies..

I remember I used to enjoy Bahu humari Rajnikant but then I stopped watching it...
Their comedy started looking to be disgusting and boring...

Projecting a mother in law wishing jail for her daughter in law as comedy leaves a bad taste...

Similarly Anika is a wonderful character ... yes she can err as she too is human but they should not show her as insensitive... I like her character too .. She is sweet ...

@bold - In fact, that is the reason I feel they should not cross the limits... Media and these television producers/ film producers have a social responsibility also ... But I guess everything is becoming so commercialized these days ... The human touch that should be a part of any profession has gone missing be it any industry... The only thing people think about is making money... 😕
