This is EXTREMELY offensive and unacceptable. Ragging is serious and many people have lost their lives because of that.

If it is for ice breaking/making friends purposes then it cannot be called ragging.

Ragging is serious and it is an extreme form of bullying. She sounds as horrible as her face/acting is.

Ragging in its original intent is meant to be a rite of passage and ice-breaker. It is supposed to be silly harmless fun. At the end of it everyone should feel relaxed, comfortable and be able to share a good laugh.

Unfortunately, over time ragging has become a malicious activity. It is almost like bullying and many people have committed suicide or gone into deep depression after being embarrassed during ragging.

Yes ragging can be fun. The activity chosen should be silly but not embarrassing. People are different and have different tolerance thresholds. People should be cognizant of that. No one should be made to do anything that makes them uncomfortable. If anyone appears distressed, unhappy or embarrassed then it should be immediately stopped. Everyone should apologize to the person offended and ask what can be done to make things better.
