sona-ritwick engagement will happen!

I want sona and ritvik engagement to happen (i know it will be wrong to him but it will be more fun to see more dev ki deewangi, no offense to ritvik fans bc I myself like his character) but post breakup up until now we have seen dev is losing his self control but his own family is ignoring his pain and they will only realize that dev can not live w/o sona when dev will completely shatter after sona's engagement otherwise there won't be any fun in the love story if there is no madness. We saw how sona fell sick when dev was getting engaged to nats but that time the love was one sided but this time the pain has to be double bc both love each other. I m excitedly waiting for dev's more deewangi for sona and how ishwari will also suffer seeing dev in that state and will blame herself for that and that will be super fun when the whole dixit clan will feel sorry for themselves for rejecting the real sona, the happiness of dev's life.

For me , engagement should not happen. Why?

No reason for Ritwik to be hurt in this mess when Dev - Sona has tons to sort out themselves. They still have not sat down and have had heart to heart talk. Everything happened in high speed, courtesy of Impulsive , hasty Dev and then only to regret but not good enough to say change the decision. And Sona hell bent on moving on betrayed by Dev.

So why bring another one more person inside this mess to hurt unnecessarily and give him hope. Might as well, he remain as a good friend for Sona.

I welcome the idea of a third angle but didnt expect Sona to agree to marriage. I know many people want her to move on. Natural reaction after she has been rejected by the very man she loved and took all the taunts from his family.

But putting that aside, its too early for Sona to think about another relationship to move on so that she can forget Dev. Seems pretty much like anger and rebound to get back at Dev.?

Few other options are available for moving on. Not saying marriage is not. But not now when the wounds are still raw and not healed yet.

Dev...he has to stop worship his mother as god and start to evaluate his own life , his needs and wants and he needs to tell his mother .

Mother and son dont understand each other at all. Dev needs to know the true colours of his mother who was the mastermind behind the sona -Ritwick alliance.

This will make him reflect and question why his mother did this knowing how this would hurt him.? And he need to ask his mum all these questions in his usual expressive way and make Iswari breakdown and for her to feel guilty and remorse for snatching her son's only source of happiness - Sona!

Let's see...its getting very difficult for me to watch the show but I still tell mysel...that everythin will be well soon

I have a doubt abt this engagement will happen bcoz v have already seen in this show two engagements got cancelled (neha , dev ) so this may b this one will b the third one ...

WHY?

Ishwari wanted Sonakshi to get married so half of her plan has to work - sona will get engaged.

Sona decided to move on so she has to be shown, really trying hard to move on - she will get engaged.

The main story will start only after sonakshi gets engaged.(just guessing)

Ishwari thinks everything will be alright after sonakshi gets married.

dev and sonakshi will not be in touch with each other after dev promises her to never meet her after that drunken drama.( sbs)

sonakshi thinks she will move on from dev.

For Ishwari's realisation to take place, she has to see the consequences of sona's marriage on dev. right now she is in denial, refuses to see Dev's pain.just don't want to admit that dev is suffering due to her insecurities.refuses to believe that he is unhappy due to her.😡

Forget marriage, dev cannot see sona with someone else.just seeing her with ritwick broke him(rain sequence). just thinking sona will be someone's else shattered him (drunken drama). now dev will also promise sona, to never interfere in her life.so he will not even see her. till now he was surviving this post break-up phase by seeing her everyday in the evening.he tried staying away from her earlier but then he realised he cannot. so he being already so vulnerable. the engagement will be the final nail in the coffin, he will be shattered beyond repair.😭

i guess then ishwari will realise that only with engagement dev is like this, what will happen if sona gets married.who knows may be she will try to correct her mistake by telling everyone that it was her who send ritwick's proposal to the bose's due to her insecurity and she will accept sona.

(i guess that's where the 2nd promo comes into picture - where dev asks sona if she has forgiven maa)

In between all this sona also realises she cannot move on from dev, and sona and ritwick mutually part ways.or maybe ritwick will be the one to make her realise that she cannot move on.

though sona will be accepted by ishwari for dev's happiness, sona and dev will decide not to go ahead with their relationship because ishwari won't be happy ( or dev will decide..i guess

) but dev will keep on visiting sona with silly excuses (3rd promo)because he cannot stay away from her.

Ps:i don't know what i wrote😕😆 trying hard to be optimistic with the engagement😆

secondly , i don't think they will repeat the same scenario with sona-ritwick as dev-natasha( cancelling engagement at the last moment) .During dev-natasha time,dev just realised his love for sona that is why engagement was cancelled, he didn't realise it earlier that's why it reached till engagement but here, they already know they love each other, were in a relationship and had a break up,here sona knows what she is doing.she decided something..now she cannot go back on her words.
