Some stars though like Kangana or Katrina I never really paid attention to them to even think whether they would be successful or not.

Happens with me too

In SOTY I was mighty impressed with Varun and liked Alia..was surprised to c why people went gaga over Sid..he is a looker but Varun holds ur attention on screen more. And I was right with my choice.

Saw that cringeworthy movie Andaaz and thought Priyanka would go a long way. But reviews praised Lara more..results r for all to see..

Similarly kareena over Abhishek in refugee ( though both were good) , kajol over kamal sadanah in Bekhudi, karisma over Harish in prem qaidi, akshay over saif in main khiladi tu anadi

For me it was Abhishek. Always felt he would fail. Though yes initial films failed but he had lot of support and kept getting films. Even saw some success in the mid-2000s. But eventually he did go down. I think the moment I felt that yeh toh ab zaroor jaayega when in that scene in LCMD Rani tells him that she is a call girl and he has no expressions on his face. 😆

PC : I never thought she would do this well in HW but she did. Even in BW, after promising debut and amazing villain act in Aitraaz, she was doing quite badly and I thought she would fizzle out due to roles in films like Drona and Love Story 2050. Dostana did give her the needed BO success and Fashion brought her back to the acting limelight. I am also happy she did bounce back. Though I cannot stand her offscreen, onscreen she is a delight definitely.

Alia : My god I swear I hated her like anything from SOTY. Even when people overrated her in Highway. I thought she wont last after such a terrible acting in SOTY. Then I saw Highway and felt RH was the show stealer but it was Alia who walked away with all honors. But I couldnt deny she was good though it annoyed me like hell with statements like BW Meryl Streep. I actually liked her alot and became a fan only because of 2 states. She was smashing in the film! Totally owned the role and the film imo. Even UP she was good. Over exposure of her makes me annoyed at times and does make me support the others but I would always be a fan of this girl <3

Deepika : I didnt have high opinion on her in her debut. Never impressed me much. She was average I would say. I didnt think she would last long though was sure she would get projects cos of her beauty. She was horrible in BKB I cannot find a more worse word to describe her wooden and annoying act in that film. Ofcourse we all know what happened to her in 2012 onwards(cocktail onwards). She completely mesmerized me with her performances and choices of films there after. I still cannot like her offscreen wise, even if I have come to bear with her for Veer sake. Onscreen she is amazing! Has super solid screen presence. Like u cant help but look towards her whenever she is onscreen. Has put in so much of effort to her roles. She was stealing the show from SRK even. That doesnt come easily to everyone imo. I hope she does do better with her dialogue delivery in future because I feel thats the only thing thats pulling her down otherwise she is definitely one of the best actresses in her generation.

Sonam : I had no hopes on her at all. Neerja happened. It honestly changed my views but right now it all depends on her next acting role. If she is able to keep that momentum then I think she would go higher in my ranking of actresses.

Katrina : Never thought the girl will survive this far. With no hindi and no acting chops, she is the only one who could survive this far. Goes to show she has that x factor in her. She is definitely killing it in BBD. I cant wait the film to be out so RK and his chamchis can go burn their hearts out, while her fans can celebrate finally after a long time(they totally deserve it).

Veer : Not that I didnt think he would make it real big. Ofcourse as a fan I always wanted him to do well as I feel he deserved it. But ofcourse with like of KJo bringing in all the star kids inside and over exposing them, there is only a slight hope for Veer. But he managed to stay afloat and thank god for BM, that has people running after him like Kjo who didnt think great of him back then.

Tiger : Like whats others have said, never thought he would make it real big. Even I am guilty of writing him off because of his feminine looks. But he has slowly won me over. I absolutely adore him offscreen now and I find myself rooting for him everytime. Though he isnt as great onscreen, I am glad atleast he has delivered two solid solo hits on his own.

Sid : I honestly didnt like this guy from SOTY. Typically I knew Varun would do well and even I was rooting for Varun all this while. But lately I find myself getting drawn towards this guy. His humble offscreen nature is seriously contagious and its the thing thats pulling me towards him. I hope he stays this way always and also keep improving onscreenwise. BBD is one film to watch out for seriously! For both Kat and Sid! Varun on the other hand is annoying me with his bad film choices, very bad acting and annoying personality. His body language screams fake to me now.

They all are so horrible and don't have any quality to be a star. But they all are quite successful today.

lets start with her onscreen ... she has only done a good amount of films in her filmography of 10 years many which went completely unnoticed (dolly ki dolly, thank you, saawariya, masuam, players, Bewakoofiyaan) which leaves not many films films ! out of those she went played very forgetful or small roles or where she wasn't the proper lead ( delhi 6, bhaag milka bhaag, prdp )

which leaves chick flicks and we know how crazy our audience is about them ( sarcasm) aisha, khoobsurat, dolly kil dolly )

the only films where she has a substantial role and were somewhat successful are Neerja, IHLS, ranjhanna. so basically in her ten years that's all she was able to bring for the audience to remember.

in the general public no one talks about Sonam good or bad.

secondly her dressing sense yes she is style diva and fashion icon etc etc but she goes overboard according to me majority of the time, it may be something as simple as film screening and she comes overly dressed compared to everyone else. Also someone need to find her the right foundation shade cause majority of the time offscreen she is white as which is not even true as we have seen from her sans make up pics ! which not only makes the audience not being able to relate to her but also not wanting to dress like her cause, lets be honest we do copy styles of celeb but obviously we can't turn up to movie screening with a freaking gown.

also i think men get turned off her over dressing as well :/

secondly her foot in the mouth syndrome once again many people might not like her just bcz of that and maybe a lot of people who did like her probably got turned off by it as well.

she seems like the actor whose fan base most probably is girls from multiplex or high class.

also she is super tall as well whist isn't negative but when she has arms that need to be toned, she can come across as huge.

lastly majority of the events she attends are overseas and her not being in a public relationship does have an impact on what the audience think of her ( before kohli the same people who called anushka ugly now find her attractive )

- also terrible dancing skills

i know i am being super harsh but i am trying to point out all the truth.

she has decent to good acting skills and a beautiful face, she should tone down a bit on the overboard fashion to seem relatable and thinks before she talks.

she is a very sweet person but she should play to her strengths and capitalise on them.
