I agree with u.The way his character has been portrayed in the show even I don't feel he will be negative and I feel that he will purposely trouble Sumo to gauge Shravan's reaction.
Shravan can be pissed off at Sumo but he will never allow anyone else to hurt her.

But you know the real one mightn't be as seedha as you think. Last night Shravan told him very clearly about his one love, so Adi babu should not have had any trouble doing his basic math this morning. But not seeing it yet...

Loved the reasons and I know in no possibility they will turn him a villain but he might PRETEND to be one is all I am guessing good reasons! Though let's wait and watch!
