Sonakshi returns from work and finds Baba has found a guy for her. She is resigned, and leaves it to them to decide,as she can't trust herself anymore. Elena comes quickly and spirits her away to a coffee shop. What was that one condition she has wanted to say earlier??
Dev had been stalking her house for a while, and finally ended up following her to the coffee shop. He heard her troubles with the new boss and like a knight in dented armor tried to fix it for her. Guilt is a powerful thing. Makes you do strange things to make up for your mistake.
Sonakshi finds out and goes marching straight to his office to blast him.Tumi ek dum impossible !! Since you wanted to get out of my life, why don't you just stay out? Why are you trying to insert yourself in my life again!?
A normal person cannot stay unhappy for long. The mind seeks to climb out of that deep pit and cheer up, its the normal response to sad event. For him, he can't help but celebrate that she is right there in front of him. Like a weary traveller reaching home. She was shouting at him, and he was smiling like it was the best day of his life.
She finished and turned to leave. We are strangers, Dev. You don't have any rights over me. And THAT is MY DECISION. He calls her back, unwilling to let her leave again. That moment of weakness in Dev's resolve was so sad.
"How are your Baba and Ma?"
"Are you serious? Why should I tell you anything?"
Wait ! Sonakshi , don't go yet!
"And how are Elena, and Sourav???"
Why don't you just ask her what you really want to know Dev?
How are you Sonakshi? I miss you so much. Did you miss me ?
She refuses to make conversation. I've had enough of you, Mr. Dixit. And leaves. She hesitates at the door. He watches her struggle to walk away, with such anticipation in his eyes.
I gotta ask. What would've happened if she turned around and cried? Would he have opened his arms and would she have run into them? Would he have held her close like he did after he told her he loved her?
Her will power won the battle and she walked away without looking back. She truly has moved on and expects nothing from Dev. Not even the slightest hope.
The disappointment in his face made me wanna curl up and cry buckets.
Meanwhile, at the Bose house, something really nice was happening. Ritwik's family is visiting and they are genuinely nice. The father is really cool and decent, and the sister too. Ritwik is really nice and charming. He flirts and charms Dadi so sweetly, I felt like pinching his cheeks. SO cute !!
CVs! Now you're making me feel guilty for wanting such a nice guy for Sonakshi !! Argh!
Ritwik meets Sonakshi. Nice vibes, strong clasping handshake. I'm scared to say more but they will be good for each other I feel. 😭
Elsewhere, Mamaji sends Ishwari on a guilt trip about Dev's misery. He tells her as it is: Dev broke Sonakshi's heart over you. You are the reason Dev is miserable. You.
I knew she would deny responsibility !!
p/s: going to watch the episode at least 10 more times.
