Finally caught up with yesterday's episode!..Two things: Firstly, Dev & Sona are still drowning in their memories & they are trying to move on... Dev hurt Sona & he shut the door on her face for his mother & Sona was okay to move on & get married for her parents. Secondly, Ishwari is in the same dark place that she's in.

"And the hardest part

Was letting go, not taking part

Was the hardest part"

Dev, even after hurting Sona so much, couldn't let go of her. How could he?...when he was still in love with her. He wasn't mentally prepared to let go. He was hoping that once the data was recovered from the phone that he threw so hastily...he thought he could at least have a piece of Sona to himself. But it didn't happen the way he wanted. The audio file was lost! He was lost!... 'Bohot important tha', 'Bilkul help nahi kar sakta'.. The anxiety, the fear, the helplessness all could be felt. No one could help him. Even he himself was doing nothing to make him feel better. This was definitely Kismet's Khel... He was beginning to realize that it was in their destiny to stay apart..

"Ms.Bose aur mera koi rishta nahi hai", ... He could feel that bitterness when he said those words. He had to keep reminding himself over & over again that they weren't together anymore. Ms. Bose was not his Sonakshi anymore. He couldn't let go.

The contrast between the two families was so stark... Sona was surrounded by everyone in her family. Love was showered in every single possible way. We knew from the beginning that Sona's support & power was, is & will always be her family.. She got a new job..her family was truly happy that she was trying & they were also playing an important part in making her forget that hard time that she was going through. Hugs 🤗to this beautiful family. Glad that we didn't get to see them mopping around her. They never left her alone to go into the dark place.

Whereas, Dev had his mother who was stuffing & suffocating him with her I-dunno-know-what-kind' of love. She was as blind as a bat. Couldn't she even see how unhappy he was. Every time she blesses him, 'Kush reh', I wonder what kind of blessing she wants for her son...😕 She's a stone cold woman.

Dev was unconsciously reaching out to Sona in every possible way. The Orange shirt!...Sona once said that the orange shirt would look good on him but now he was looking like a depressed, rotten Santara... He didn't like the feeling anymore. He wanted to get that depressed feeling out. The shirt didn't suit him anymore. He threw it away from him. There was no connection between the Dev who was filled with Sona's love & the Dev standing in front of the mirror. He still yearns to be Sona's Dev...but he couldn't. He was alone, lost in his world filled with darkness. It was like a spell.. Sona was on his mind 24*7. Everything around him reminded him of Sona & the happy memories that they'd shared. Nothing was going to come back.. He wanted to be near her but he couldn't. He started taking those sleeping pills to forget everything.

And the hardest part

Was letting go, not taking part

You really broke my heart

Sona took the saree that he'd gifted her. She remembers those words that he'd once said. I don't love these earrings, this saree... Ms. Sonakshi Bose... I love you.'... All those words that he sang had no meaning at all. Everything that he'd done was the opposite. It was wrong. And her heart was torn apart. She was hurt & her life was colourless in spite of all the love that was being showered by her family.. Jo pyar tha kushi, usi ne dard bar diya...', Jo rang tha suhana, usi ne berang kar diya'. These are such beautiful lines & it was so apt for this situation. They had so much meaning & depth. The background score was in perfect sync to the visuals. Just plain beautiful. I could feel the emotions that they were going through. Sona had only tears to shed for the feeling that she was going through.

What kind of colourless love was this?? 💔 🥺

Ishwai...Ishwari... Ishwari... What more can we tell about her? Radha Rani tells her to get Dev married as soon as possible so that Sona doesn't have a chance to be back in Dev's life. But little did she know that Ishwari wanted Dev all to herself. She didn't want to share him with anyone. This was very clear now. What are the makers trying to show here?? 😕 Ishwari's behaviour is becoming more extreme now. She tries to change the topic by saying, 'Dev shaadi ke liye thaiyaar nahi hai'. If Ishwari was not Dev's mother I could see him happily married with 2-3 kids by now..😆She's robbing so much of happiness from him.

Always always said Ishwari was a cunning, sly, smart woman & we saw it again today. She can't see Dev marrying anyone because he would give his wife the same importance that he would give her... She didn't want to share that position with anyone. It was all hers! Neha echoed her thoughts perfectly in the one of the previous episodes. So there was no way she would search for a bride for Dev but instead why not find a groom for Sona...Wah wah!! Shabaash.. She wants to get rid of the only thing that's on Dev's mind. Did she know that she's going to crush Dev...He was already in so much pain because he gave up Sona for her. And now she's literally taking him to the slaughter house. This woman really amazes me... all in the wrong way though. Sona is good enough for anyone but not her son...so she searches for the perfect alliance for Sona...

Mera beta ek galathi doobara nahi kartha'...I can't wait for Dev to slip now. Patiently waiting. I don't care about what happens to Ishwari then.

Whereas on the other side Bijoy wants his daughter to move on... get married! Sona trusts her parents & she agrees... Okay!' They never expected her to give in that easily. They were surprisingly shocked. She'd once made a decision for herself & it turned out to be a mistake. She didn't want to walk through the same path again. She knows that her parents would find the best partner for her. She trusted them... Sona behaved so maturely. This girl has got such a strong grit. She's one amazing positive package. And her parents were adorable as always. Asha is still hesitant. But Bijoy is convinced that she's ready to move on.

Ishwari wants a shareef, thamizdar, khandani Benagli doctor for Sona! Is her guilt playing subconsciously with her? Yes she doesn't want Sona for her son. But she also wants Sona to get the very best as well. Ah...she wants a very good alliance so that the Bose's will have no reason to refuse the the proposal. Looks likes the latter reason suits more than the former..Don't know why I slipped here in figuring Ishwari out..😆. She might think her job is done & dusted by finding a 'chikna' groom for Sona... But i'm sure this is going to backfire on her. So she chooses Mr. R for Sona. The broker says 'lekin' but she doesn't hear him out completely. So there's definitely something attached to this R guy which the Bose's may or may not be aware of. Ishwari played around with her life & got Dev to remove Sona out of his life. Now she's gone one step further to play around with somebody else's life. This will not go down well with Dev when he knows that Ishwari was involved in this. Hope this forces/triggers/initiates Dev to bring Sona back into his life.

RR's expressions was priceless! So true to her nature. She thinks she's so clever. But she's such a dud!

I liked Elena-Sona's conversation. Elena.. thank you for being there to talk to Sona... She wants to know if Sona was doing the right thing. If Sona was ready to get into another relationship when she just got out of one... But all Sona could think of was, how Dev expressed that he was blinded in their love that he forgot to see his mother's sufferings. Was she moving on for him...? That by moving on.. Ishwari will be happy & he will be happy as well?? 'Hume alag hona chahiye' haunts her again & the best thing would be to move on. Wanted to hug this beautiful strong girl!

Poore Delhi mein...ek hi broker hai kya?? 😕😕 The Bose's want the best for Sona. And Ishwari had served the best to them on their plate. She's happy that her plan has worked. Too soon to be happy is all that I have to say Ishwari ji.

The episode ends...by continuing to show how Dev is still holding onto his memories of Sona..The 'Gajra' scene! Where as, Sona is ready to embark on a new journey.

All in all a wonderful wonderful episode. The transition was beautiful & subtle...It doesn't explicitly say that there's a leap...but subtly they have shown how Dev is trying to move on but he isn't able to & how Sona has finally decided to move on. Beautiful. The writers have done an amazing job..The director is A1 when it comes to executing the scenes. Never fails & will never fail when it comes to this department. Splendid! The background score is really really good...but somewhere all of a sudden it was all screechy!...like someone was scratching the walls with their long nails & making that weird noise..Gave me the goosebumps in the wrong way... need to tone the singers voice a little bit. I have only one plea now, please fix Ishwari soon. Her behaviour is extremely disturbing.

Yes. Iswari is really irritating me.All of us know that she is smart, cunning, selfish and she will go to any extent to achieve her goal. But yesterday i felt that she is so much blinded by her selfishness that she don't want to go to Dev room and see how restless he is and try to enquire about his well being which she used to do earlier.Literally she pushed him towards a dark cell and feeling happy that everything is correct now.She is scared to adopt the change. She don't want anything in her house to be changed. Her position in her home and in her son's life even it is at the cost of killing her son's happiness. She don't bother about his happiness.I don't know what kind of relation, love and bonding she is sharing with her son.She is happy in the illusion that there is an unknown, wifi connection between her and her son but actually nothing is there except her selfishness and thirst for her position like political leaders

Ishwari- she is satisfied what Dev and sona are not together anymore and he chose her over sona.to retain this happiness she can go to any length...you know see not able to see Dev 's condition..I totally get now..I have seen people who get so blind getting what they always wanted that they don't even bother or notice what caused others to get that things back to you..who suffered..who is suffering nothing else.there is saying .if you are happy you see everyone is happy too..if you are sad..you see sadness everywhere..ishwari is hapoy and she feels everything is fine too.even if she gets to see Dev in miserable condition..she will blame sona and feel I can view my son ..I will handle him..he should have come to be before..I would have healed his wounds..the problem with her is her extreme ..on one hand she feels she is everything to Dev and Dev needs literally no one else..nothing else..on other hand she feels she is deserted and does not trust his son to stay with her forever..you know why..because subconsciously she also knows..this is not possible..but she wants to make it possible and for that she tries everything...from emotional blackmail to plotting or anything.

Sona- sona has lost trust in her own choice, love and own decisions..she does not want to own any decision of her life..she wants to let her parents to decide her fate if there is any left.she can not be happy but all she can try to make family hapoy and that's what she is doing.she is looking for escape from all miseries.she has no hope from dev's side.its like over and out from Dev side .she is emotionless yet full of emotions for her family.devs company surely affected her..she is ready to do anything for family now.

Dev- though I hate him on and off.i feel he is selfish..and I know he is super flawed..but I think yesterday it was off day of hating..he is in mess.he had to set things right for his mom.and first thing he thought of breaking up with sona.he did not care for her or his own emotions.he did not care to look for another solution..because he knows how to remove problem and he feels removing problem is solution ..he exactly did that..for mom ..problem was sona..so just remove her from life..that's solution for him.because he has been doing this entire life.what mommy does not like ..he can't let it stay..it was always easy for him.mommy is without doubt is first choice..but this time he did not have clue that things have changed... relationship has changed and he had changed...taking decision is easy..but following is tough..and he has no clue that sona exactly has come to same pedestal where his mother is if not more...he is not able to survive without her..how can he? He is totally madly deeply depended on sona emotionally.no doubt he loves her a lot.and because of saving his single parent life.he just took decision..but how can he make himself understand that he has to let her go..he can be happy with his family without sona as he has always been ..he can survive without sona..because that's not possible for him now.his soul is with sona .his strength lies in their love and his blood is coming out of his eyes..what is left in him to support his body?? Nothing and that's why it feels he can collapse any second. He felt he set things right when he decided to part away..then why nothing seems in place for him..whey nothing is right..why nothing is giving him ray of hope to live ..because he is not himself without sona.and when Dev is not dev anymore..his entire existence seems fake...

This journey is going to beautiful if makers keep this standard..Dev and sona have talked more rather than acting on it.speically Dev.they need to sail through hurdles..this is their first.they need to understand..life is not every time about making choices as they say.its about balancing..it's about how you handle situation together..this is not the last hurdle ,last fight, last argument or last break up threat for them...many will come..every time they can not just decide..we need to part away and move on or sulk over..they need to understand if they want to be together..they need to use Brains and heart both..they need to give importance on both aspects..easy roads never lead to extraordinary places.. difficult paths do...promises are not words..promises are piece of faith people give to each other..that piece which belong to heart .life is tough..relationship are complex..but true love and true soulmates make wonders for you..you need to be that true soulmates for another..no one gets scared of dark if someone is holding your hand tight and their assurance works as guiding light..problems will there .butyou need to make sure your partner..problems are temporary but I am here forever with you for you

Beautiful post Aksh. 👏

Loved the episode. I love the background score used post break up especially the male voice. Not at first though. But especially yesterday's episode. His voice brings out the raw pain that Dev n Sona are going through. So many scenes I felt that Dev wanted to scream because of the pain n the voice I felt was conveying this. Well I have officially gone crazy with this show so not surprising.

I wanted to laugh when GKB asked Ishwari aapke pair kaha hain! GKB have a long way to go reach Ishwari's level of slyness. But her smug expression all through the episode was grating on my nerves. I don't think that the Lekin used by the proposal guy was anything big. Rithwik may be against marriage post his break up and may be that was hinted. You are absolutely right regarding Ishu asking for the best for Sona is to make sure that her family will not find anything to object. She is playing God. She may be God for Dev but since she started playing this game God himself will be playing at the other end. The more you try to oppose change the more drastic the outcome will be. The change will happen. If you accept it with grace then the better.

Dev is holding on by a thread. He is depressed n too much in pain. A houseful of relatives who are under his care is totally oblivious to it. Ishwari wants to believe everything is back to normal. But she knows 😆 . Otherwise she wouldn't have tried to marry of Sona. Her action will set in motion a chain of events that will decide their future. She was the trigger for all this and now she have graciously obliged being the trigger to set everything right.

Aksh itna bada analysis 😃 The episode was so so beautiful so is your post 😳👏 It was truly a masterpiece👏The transition was so smooth and detailed.👏 This leap was required to do justice to the moving on part.

When Dev said "koi meri help nahi kar sakta", just wanted to shake him "Dev only you can help yourself" He is suffocating with the pain but still no remorse as Ishwari is happy. This marriage track is the only thing now which will make him realize what he is losing.

We so misunderstood Sona yesterday. Did not find her wrong at all. She is going with her parent's choice as her choice betrayed her. Dev's words are still haunting her. She cannot trust herself anymore.😭

Ishwari has no right to be called a mother PERIOD. But her deeds will backfire on herCan't she see the pain on his face? Ohh yeah they have a WIFI connection, my foot. She can't see anything beyond herself 😡

And yeah the male voice sounds screechy at times specially the high pitch but it helps in showcasing the pain i think. I am liking the song now.

Thank you! 😊
Yes the Bose's might be a middle class family but they have a heart! They are sensitive to emotions. Their love for Sona is something what every parent showers on their kids..Where as Ishwari...doesn't seem to have a 'heart' at this moment. And sensitivity is something that flew out from her window way long back. And I don't know what to call the love that she has for Dev 😕..!It's just getting extremely weird...🤢 And the writers... I think they are not able to figure out from where to start correcting Ishwari character... that is if they plan to...

Yup she seems too happy living in an illusion and she's doing this in order to escape from the truth. Its as simple as that...Let her float in that bubble of hers...Hoping it pops soon.
And she being a smart & cunning woman has been very clearly shown from day one. Anything which relates to her son..she will turn into an insensitive, oblivious, obsessive mode. And for the rest of the things she follows a completely different path...

@bold: So so true! But tell me something this lady is so smart that she goes out of the way in finding the perfect Rishta for Sona so that she can get her out of the way...As in she capable of looking too ahead into the future & she's thinking so much... But she can't see what's happening in front of her eyes?? 😕Like I said in the previous comment, I think she's living in an illusion. She doesn't want to come out of it. She's just escaping from the truth that Dev still loves Sona truly, madly, deeply... And I still don't understand the love that she has for Dev. Arrey I truly sympathize Urmila's character in Pyar tune kya kiya. He loves makes more sense to me now. This this...I can't understand.

Poor girl. What else could she do? Her promises - broken, her trust - broken, her love - broken... it just took few seconds for everything to crash for her. She tried reaching out to him but he had locked himself in a shell & he was not willing to let anyone near him. She was angry that it was only he who could make all the decisions. She always gave 100% to their relationship & she still wanted to give but he was not willing to even acknowledge her presence in his life. What other option she has now? Her parents want her to move forward & she's doing exactly that so that they're happy..

You couldn't have said this any better. So perfect! He thought he could deal with it, but he never thought it would be this hard. That's why he's still reeling in shock..Just few days back everything was perfectly fine & all of a sudden his life was upside down. He told Sona that she makes him a better person. And now he has realized that he's not a better person anymore. He feels gutted to have subjected her to this kind of pain. And the loneliness is killing him. He doesn't have anyone to share his pain with..But what to do. He asked for this. Guessing that Mamaji realized that he was bottling up way too many emotions inside himself & that's why he gave him gyan as seen in yesterday's sbs.
Looks like everyone is escaping from their fears.. Fear has two meanings:

Forget everything & run...This is Dev!

Face everything & rise... This is Sona!

Again I have to completely agree with you. This was their first big ugly hurdle & they both ran away in opposite directions?? These are tests that every couple goes through & I expected that the writers would show them fighting it out together in a more realistic manner... One person can go half way & the other can meet him/her midway. But both of them must be willing to mend things for the love that they have for each other. And we got to see something totally different...Looks like they have taken the longer route but they have lost the essence while taking this path...
