You can look at Pihu childhood two ways
1. The first way as you suggested she is one of the kids who had a stable childhood
2. The second way she never had a childhood because she never knew her correct identity, she was bought up in a web of lies, even her conception was done in deceit so she never had a childhood which she can look back to without feeling empty inside her.
Yes when she finds out she will be devastated everyone of them is to blame for her life to be in this mess but the for me the first blame lies more on the Raman, Iyers and Bhalla family because they could have told the truth of her existence instead of deceiving her. I then blame Ishita too after that because in her effort to not distance Pihu from Shagun she never really gave a choice to Pihu to let her know about her real mother.
