Barfi has every type of songs. soulful, pappy. the lyrics are awesome. I have only heard Sawar loo from lootera and that also is not in my music album. so for me it's Barfi. also Barfi's songs were chart-busters where as Lootera songs were not there in top 10 except sawar loo.

Barfi wins for me by a narrow margin, solely on the basis of Phir Le aya dil kya keejay...that was just a heavenly song both to watch onscreen and to hear later on.

Kyon by Papon is also highly romantic.

Itni si khushi was so cute!

Lootera songs are very good too...especially Sawaar Loon and Ankahee.

Barfi... No one had expected Pritam to come up with something like that... I mean it's expected of Amit to give good music but Barfi's music album was unbelievable.

However, Amit was robbed of all awards for Lootera while they went to Pritam for YJHD. I think jury likes only wholesome albums.. Like desi wedding buffets.. One starter, one veg, one non veg, roti, dal, dessert.. Don't care what's actually being served but wholesome hona chahiye! Pathetic how people disregard musicians who actually help in taking the film's story forward through their music.

Barfi is Pritam's most original composition...Lootera is Amit Trivedi's best till date.

Both are gem..But Lootera has a edge for me..Because its very haunting..its unique..My favourite is ManMarziyaan..I get goosebumps every time I listen to it.
