I saw some posts saying Sona doesn't love Dev.
While they are entitled to their point of view, I disagree.

Sona loves Dev but she isn't co-dependant. Once Dev took a unilateral decision to breakup without even discussing with her, the only option left for Sona is to move on.

What Dev did was just shy of hitting her. He may love her and his mother may be sick and all that jazz but that's no excuse for his behavior.

Continuing to love and support Dev at this point would make Sona a co-dependant, which she definitely isn't.

Bang on!
He chucked her out. Whether or not he is suffering is not her problem anymore. We must be responsible for our actions.

Exactly! She's doing exactly what any girl in her situation would do. She would move on. I don't understand why she's being criticized for doing that.

Forget co-dependence. Still pining for his love, chasing him or asking him to understand and reconsider after the way he dumped her and did not even have the grace to apologise later will make her a cheap despo who has no self respect, no dignity and no standard.
Love forgiveness and sensitivity are the key essences of being a woman - shamelessness is not. If in spite of all Dev has done Sona still says remember I said I will never leave you I will call her shameless.

She should kick him where it would hurt the most. ritvik is just what the doctor ordered in this case because the kick is going to be to Devs male ego.

I cant, in my sane mind, think of any damn reason for which Sona can be accused of anything or her sincerity in the relationship can be questioned ! I wanted to support Dev considering he is an unfortunate child etc, but such accusations on Sona is pushing me more towards #SonabearCamp 🤔

I don't care what Ishwari thinks now, I just want redemption of Dev and would look forward to see at least 1 incident where Dev stands against Ishwari before Dev comes back to Sona.. If he was this scared, he should have first consulted with his mother before making endless promises to Sona.. This is a very spineless attitude sorry to say 🤓

And also I want Bijoy Bose to give Dev a piece of mind where he denies to let Sona accept Dev because of his lack of ability to make independent decisions, let's see how Dev wins Bijoy.. I want Bijoy to give Dev as tough time as Ishwari gave to Sona, but with dignity..

Sonabear can enjoy her life alone or with Rithwik or with whoever, who are we to question a heartbroken girl on what she should do, she can do whatever to make herself and her family happy 🥳

So I don't really have an issue with her 'moving on' per se. But I thought Sona acted a bit like a petulant child in the breakup scene. Dev did make a unilateral decision... but I think Sona could've demonstrated a bit of understanding and compassion for how that decision came about. He didn't breakup willingly or happily. He's just taken it to heart that his actions have hurt his mother dearly enough to land her in hospital. That's a really big deal.

I sort of agree with him that if he doesn't stand by his mother now he can't really be counted on to stand by anyone else. I think Sona knowing the kind of man that he is... should've been able to 'understand' that decision.

I think if they had shown her doing both loving and supporting Dev while trying to move on in her own life would've made me respect the character a bit more.

And I think it would have made me like Devs char a teeny bit if he explained his predicament to Sona rather than say "kis haq se"

When a kid behaves in an unreasonable way you mollycoddle him. When an adult behaves unreasonable you call then out on that.

Sona is his lover... Not his mother.

All I have to say is that no one is looking from a mother's POV. How wld a mother feel if in sleep her son is calling out his beloved's name and mother had no clue that her son is in love when she was confident that if ever her son falls in love he will tell his mom abt it. IMO Dev handled this whole thing very badly.
