these r a few things i noticed about these two mothers as i watch both shows

ishwari is good so is sujatha

ishwari is good mother to dev and sujatha is good mother to atharv

ishwari worked hard to raise children as her husband was dead and sujatha too sells milk and raised athsrv, sujatha's husband left her she has to bear the grunt of society as well

sujatha supports athafv in every way but ishwsri too much dependent on dev as if dev is indebted tl her

sujatha gives freedom to atharv so that he can freely discuss anything with her but dev is hesitant to share his problems and love with his mother

dev loves sona, but he is hesitant to tell his mother about her whereas atharv openly shares his love for vividha with his mother

ishwari in thiz way is very selfish and i find sujatha a perfect mother

ishwari does not believe in dev whereas sujata always believes in atharv

my take sujatha is the best mother anyone can have

any other differences u can find and ur take on this...

Comparison posts r not allowed in IF.

I will just say I will pick Sujatha any day as best mother.I love her.[I watch that show regularly]

I've never watched that show..

But look it is not about who is a better mom

Arre hum toh khud hi kehte hai ki Ish never understands Dev

It is about the show

And Kuch Rang ..is the best show I've come across till now.

I'm not trying to pin point any show, I'm just saying it in general

The characters maybe godly, heavenly, the best mom, the best father etc. Etc.

But a show is not just about that..

The show has to be the best.. doesn't matter if the characters are shown to be absolutely perfect or not.

i watched that serial some days...
their bond is very good..very understanding mom...
but KRPKAB is the best show...now I'm not watching any other serials otherthan KRPKAB...

Those two are among the few shows I love on TV right now.

I agree with what you wrote. I think the reason for that lies in the very characterization of the two characters. Sujatha is shown as a strong, independent, single mom. She is not dependent on Atharv. She is a working woman. Ishwari on the other hand, has been completely dependent on Dev. She is a stay-at-home mom, and her life revolves around Dev.

What mamaji told Ishwari about engaging in other activities and going outside the house is very true.
