I have always felt that, but today its proven that the character of Ishwari is a passive BULLY!! Everyone is threatened by her, even, RR. RR crosses limits as long as it won't be messing up with Ishwari!! One person that hasn't accepted this attitude and rebelled against it is Neha.

Ishwari has treated Neha and the other girls as they hold less importance, even though, Neha was replacement of her to the younger girls. Ishwari has never recognized that!! Neha makes sure of letting Ishwari know of her real nature frequently, probably, that is the reason Ishwari holds it against Neha.

Ishwari very well knows that she is the ultimate and can easily silence or BULLY anyone of them with her closed mouth talking!!😡😡 Even mamaji was scared to mention anything to her about Dev's plight, but Ishwari knew what mamaji was thinking and told him right away that Dev is fine!! Mamaji also knows that his sister is turning blind eye to her son's pain. Its like everyone knows, but know one has guts to stand up to her!! I hope Neha not only talks to Ishwari, but becomes a support for Dev. The true bond between siblings hasn't developed due to sick minded mother, hopefully, this is a chance for that!!

I know a mother who is just like that, its a collegue's mom. he had become a good friend of my husband and often shares his pain!! In his 20s he was totally blind in his mother's love and let go of couple of girls even though his mother had suggested those girls in the first place, but found everything wrong with them later!! He didn't have a clue, he was so devout. In his early 30s he fell in love with a girl and his mother found nothing wrong with her, but found uncertain feeling, so this guy didn't push for marriage. However, the girl got tired and told him to get a life!! His mother by now was openly rejecting proposals coming for him and saying he is not in hurry!!😕😕😕 he was wondering why his mother wasn't behaving like any other desi mom looking for DIL. He again met his girl friend in flight a couple of years ago and now things were just cook between them and she explained what his mother was doing and it clicked for this guys!!

He is in his 40s now and went through multiple relationships to realize its not that his mother doesn't like that girl, but she doesn't like any girl because she would have to share him with her!!

This guy is not a TV hero, so he is not as positive as DEV, still, he loves his mother and wants to do everything for her, but he does comment to friends that his mother would not have a daughter in law cause she can not share me!! His mother weirdly smiles about this!! Right now he is in relation with his GF and his mother thinks he is travelling for work😕😕. They have decided to go this way until his mother passes away!!

How many of you know or have heard of such a mother in real life?? Please share if you have!!

Yes, it is a lot, but the son still loves his mother very much, but knows her truth now. The way he looks at it as illness which is non treatable!!

I think you are right ishwari needs a doctor she is not well mentally! Yesterday I was quite frustrated with the ongoing flow of events and I ended up watching all old episodes I saw Ish unusually possessive about Dev, preferred him over other kids, thought all girls were below him and what not !!! I think she is sick and is a danger to any gf or wife that poor boy may have. Dev may have inherited that problem so he may need a doctor visit too and who else better than Sona can treat him !!!! I am actually feeling bad for mother son duo... They need help !!!

Sona this family needs you !! PLEASE come back 😃

i agree with you to a degree. She is like that because she is attached to Dev but it is way too much. it is unhealthy and she is going to destroy her relationship with Dev and everyone else.

Sad to know that there is someone like Ishwari in real life too. I've read about this kind of mothers, googled it, but I have never met one like her. Based on her characteristics, she is a Narcissistic. For her it's only about her happiness, and she can go to any extent to get what she wants. She really needs a psychotherapy.

Its nice to someone finally coming up with a post about the fact such mothers do Exist. Yes i too have seen mothers who feel horribly insecure to share their son with the DIL. Mothers like Ishwari do exist , there are a lot of them out there. Neha was right, her mom will not accept any girl in her Bhai's life.

Neha already started questioning her, and i have a gut feeling the more she sees her Bhai in misery , the more she will voice out. In fact i have become so sadistic here that i want her to be angry with Ranveer, come down and start staying in Ishwari niwas and give her mom a piece of her mind regarding the bhai's plight. I want her to use the best of her razor sharp tongue to lash out at her mom. She is the only one against whom even RR cannot dare to speak. 😆

I am glad you liked the post. I wish Neha uses her sharp tongue to help her brother. That way Dev can actually have a bond with someone else than his mother.

Very well said👍🏼.. That's exactly why, Ish makes Neha look like a whining child without any proper reason so that nobody takes her seriously😆.. And Neha too has been carried away with her own self-pity mode thus not coming out as someone strong to be reasonable.. Now that Neha has shown some maturity towards newfound lovelife and putting efforts to make things work, she's getting that grown-up effect.. And if she sticks to that change of hers to speak volumes for her credibility, then her words would become impactful.. She can never be ignored like earlier..

And Dev should not see Neha as that girl who is being unreasonable and being difficult because of the difficult times.. Not something like the girl, Ishwari has always projected her to be... Yes, Neha was all that but now she's showing changes.. And Dev should start seeing his own sister in different light now.. And Dev too should see how Neha values her mother differently inspite of accusing her for her misdoings.. Dev too need to understand that it's not either on the top or rock bottom.. 😆

Really sad that such people exist.. And yeah they sure need medical or psychological help.. Not sacrifice or any philosophical advices.. 🤔

But they are making Ishwari do mind games in all her senses where many fail to treat her like a patient and bring the confusion of she being hurt, thus failing miserably in getting the sympathy which is needed for a patient🤪...

And yeah as someone said, the climax should be to put her in hospital.. And if need be keep Dev only for her... without being shared... Or as in the story that you mentioned the love birds to wait till she's gone...😃

The writer can steer the characters in the right direction if they aim for the meat of the subject and not just on the meat of the pocket...😉

I remember one mother character in Rishta.com.. who wants to just control her son's decision and want to make him choose the girl only from her choice.. the way she keeps manipulating this don.. 😆 her character stays strong in my mind.. and the son initially gets manipulated.. finally gives it back assertively.. no need to be aggressive at alll.. But strong and assertive...👏
