dev is still under illusion...how he tells sona that ma can read his expressions...if ma cud read his expressions then y did she not realize that her son is in love for 3 and a half months...
but dev sure is something...he knows how to hurt a person where it hurts and very conveniently thinks sona will understand...this is the second time he blamed his love for her regarding his duty toward his family...first time he was telling sona over phn that he neglected neha during her wedding because he was spending time with sona...and now he attributes ishwari's state to his love for sona...and not only this...dev didnt even realize that he has just said something very hurtful...dev and his ma mantra were getting on my nerves...
and wen finally sona said goodbye mr.dixit dev's expression instantly got transformed to like confusion...wat was he thinking...he wud go on insulting this relationship and sona wud still stand there and wait for him to come to his senses...
but shaheer and erica simply nailed the entire scene...they were beautiful...and i liked how thruout dev was avoiding her eyes...he cud not answer to any of the questions that sona was asking him...instead he stayed in the safe zone of insisting ma doesnt approve this relationship...and how easily he says sorry...sona rightly said...she has loved the wrong person...
but the best dialogue was the one that sona gave to ishwari that she may be too young to talk about wat happiness lies ahead for anyone...but she believes that she was definitely one part of dev's happiness...food for thought for ishwari...
oh and i absolutely adored bijoy bose...he was constantly telling his daughter that she is the best and she is strong...during breakup the initial days r very difficult and it shatters the confidence of a person...if not for her father sona cud easily lose confidence on herself...
at the same time i feel so extremely sorry for dev...wen sona is crying her entire family is there to hold her, hug her and wipe her tears...but who is there to wipe dev's tears...
dev thinks by sacrificing his love he can bring things between him and his mom back to normal but is it so...can he now proudly claim that his mother is happy if he is happy...this is one thing that he has always been telling sona wenever she has been in doubt that ishwari doesnt like her...and dev always used to refute her fears by saying that ishwari will never refuse anything that will gv him happiness...no he cant say that anymore unless he becomes a big liar...the equation between mother and son has changed and dev will very soon realize that...
