Suicide - my opinion

Suicide is very strong word ... And committing suicide is crime. So I don't think showing suicide attempt on mass media is appropriate. It's a sensitive territory to intrude.

Why people suicide, many a times they are in depression, lost hope, cornered by their social circle or facing some problem of which thay thing is no solution left. ( secondary solutions are alway there).

They don't want to die, they just want to stop emotional trauma they are facing that time of their lives and almost always there is cry of help in stumble ways. Talking helps. In fact last minute calls help ... and most of the survivors have one story to tell and that the instance they took the step they regretted it badly.

Survivors along with their families face remorse, guilt, embarrassment and low confidence. They face legal hassles as well.

Family and friends of survivors live in constant fear for their lives and this breaks harmonious way of living.

I have certain questions,If CVs will take this route ...

1. How thay will justify Sharavn's persona after this

2. Will they show police and legal cases on him

3. Will they show him seeking psycatrist's help

4. Who will give him cases to fight as we know still in India this kind of things are taboo

5. Are we teaching youth to take this route ... And glorifying it.

Suicide is not euthanasia and Sharavn is healthy man with sound mind... And we should show him in that light only.

My opinion ...

I agree. And i think so does namik. Thats why he replied in a straight face. As much as we've seen shravan, suicide is too out of character for him.

Well said... I don't know why theCVs are taking this route that too with lead! They are the icons to soo many and I think such things should not be glorified! In fact they should show something like how one should fight the depressions in life!

We had a lot of posts earlier when there were articles on Sumo try to commit suicide to show how much she trusts SHravan! I think CVs did not learn any lesson from that! I still hope they don't show it like SHravan trying to commit...

Namik's character being strong doesn't go well for him!!

I totally agree.

Remember Suman terrace scene.. where she gets ready to jump to gain his trust.. all the articles/spoilers before that scene telecasted said that Suman was going to commit suicide and all nonsense. In the end it was not at all that way.

So taking this instance into consideration I feel it will not be a suicide this time also...may be he will injured or something.

But if they do show it as suicide, they better justify it like you said.

Thats exactly what thought.. media created hype about terrace scene as suicide too.. So I'm expecting even this will be that way and they will not go over board.

Yes finally! I agree with you 100%. Unstable personalities is one thing, but showing suicide on mass media, is ridiculous. Then people wonder why teens commit suicide, media is glorifying it, that's why!. It is problem already in India, dont make it an epidemic!

You cannot redeem yourself after attempting suicide, I cannot believe they take these issues so lightly!.

and for our mahaan cvs ..wow good job..👏 u know guys how to ruin a beautiful love story ooopppss! where is the love ? since it has stared to broadcast not a single episode we didnot watch a love always this kind of bakwaas track ..daal se shru hoke abh khudkhushi tak le aaye.
