In today's episode, emotionally draining as it was, we had the irksome Ishwari to add to the trauma.

i have given up understanding the character that the CV's have created.. it is way beyond me.. i just could not understand the Sona taunting and what she hopes to achieve out of it..

I have always felt that Dev- Ishwari's relationship is not normal. Ishwari 's emotional partner is Dev. But for Dev , there has been no emotional partner in his life. He has hidden all his worries to himself. For him joy is about fulfilling his mom and sisters wishes. He was a machine just lived thats all. Only with Sonakshi he was able to find his soul and they both share an emotional bond. Now Dev has an emotional partner - Sonakshi.

Here comes the tug of war , again created by Ishwari as she has to share this space with Sonakshi. So that is why she is happy to see them moving apart and in a way she has won the battle at least for now. Dev's troubles are just starting . He is used to Sonakshi and discussing with her..being around her ..its going to be roller coaster ride.

As far as Ishwari is concerned , she will be super happy as she has got her son back!!

Ishwari does not want to accept that she is the reason for this break up. She is trying to deflect all blame by saying the things she said. She does not want to feel guilty and wants to prove to herself that she is a nice person and she did not do anything wrong.
Hence all her remarks. Just my thought...

I have never felt the close bond of Dev and his mother...always felt there was a tinge of coldness.
At times, I feel Iswari is Dev's stepmother...I loved the parting shot of Sona...I maybe too young to discuss this but I believe I was part of Dev's happiness.

And yes, I cant relate to this character at all - its beyond my understanding how the mum gets happy and relief each time her sons breaks up with a girl...she needs treatment...badly!

I've reached a point where I don't want to understand Ishwari.. It's unneseccay stress from my poor head & heart 😕
I won't be shocked when Dev & Ishwari will behave as if there was never a Sona in their lives! Ignorance is bliss for them...

You cannot please everyone all the time ... Period ! At some point or other you are bound to disappoint someone ... And when those someones are you loved ones , it will be more excruciating ... But ur utmost disappointment is when u fail urself , when you are very well aware that you are wrong , but can't do anything about it but being helpless ...

The guilt was killing Ishwari that whose happiness she valued the most , is now bringing her nothing but pain ... The more she tried to lie to herself , the more she was becoming another person , one she didnt even know existed in her ... Yesterdays episode when she was talking to mamaji , I could feel her frustration ...

Having said that , I was shocked that she could even pass a comment on their break-up today in this situation ... "It may be right for everyone's (???) happiness "... I really didnt know whom she referred here ... I totally lost it today ... Least she could have done was to thank her for taking a good care of her and wish for a better life ...

Sona was right "You would have been feeling better today "... Yes she may not have to pretend to be happy for them anymore , and doesn't even has to face her everyday, and to top it all , she is her son's top priority as always , and she got that assurance back ... She can rejoice in that moment of comfort , but she doesnt know it will pass soon ... She doesn't know yet , with this break-up her son's heart also broke , n its beyond repair ... And he had distanced himself from the only person who could heal him , for her ...

She can try all she wants ,to be free of this guilt by trying to get Sona a good groom and a better life , or badgering Dev with love ... But all the sweetness of her halwa is not enough to eradicate the bitterness she brought in his life and fill the hollowness she created in his heart ...

Ishwari is a Narcissistic mother. She is suffering from Narcissistic Personality Disorder. She needs psychotherapy for treatment.
