Although Dev seemed to be a perfect boyfriend, I totally agree with Mr. Bose's opinion of the Dixit clan. I feel that ishwari is a rotten brat who is not only down right rude but starts to throw tantrums whenever things are not her way. The bond between the mother and the son is such that even the daughters are not allowed in their exclusive shopping dates. Both mom and the son are highly impulsive people and substance abusers ( sleeping pills, drunk Dev in future episodes etc.) . I agree that Dev had to take a quick decision after seeing his mother fighting for life and dear mamaji blaming his relationship for the current tantrum of Ishwari. Any son or daughter would panic under those circumstances. If the CVs are showing that the mother will only realize her son's misery when he starts to act like a Devdas, it would send a very wrong message to the people that if you don't get your way, start the melodrama. What is the gurantee that the mother-son duo will not do the same in future also? This is not a healthy envionment at all... Even if the current situation gets resolved, I doubt a happy ever after. What will haapen once they have kids? ishwari keeps changing her position on every issue so how can one trust her even if she approves the Devakshi relationship after seeing Dev under depression this time?
Bottom line : no matter how hot and succesful the boyfriend is, he is not going to provide you a stable family envirnment so reconsider his most romantic proposal in future.
